  1. Christine, I would have to know what your reaction level to gluten is before I would even say eat in a restaurant. I have such a high reaction level to gluten that eating out is not possible. It seems that an environment that has gluten in it will have gluten in everything, no matter how hard they try and keep it out. Gluten is ground so fine and sticks...
  2. In Mexico you can get white rice with out the enrichment. The problem is you can not get a good brown rice down there. I have a feeling that there is a law in the U.S. that makes the rice growers put enrichments in their white rice. I did notice that a Texas brand of rice had a warning on the label about the fact that there is wheat and nuts processes...

There is well known disease in breast fed babies called eosinophilic colitis, which causes eosinophilic infiltration in the large intestine of the babies and clinically presents as rectal...

  6. I lost a girlfriend while I was in India because of celiac disease and other related issues. This winter while I was wintering down in Mexico I met a someone I really liked, and have been e-mailing her. I recently sent her a letter where I complained about getting sick from gluten and have not heard back from her since. Possibly it is a good thing not...
  7. Hi Mari, Like the others, I do not eat out. In fact I gave it up totally. When I travel overseas I use a Nova multi-fuel stove and stainless steal MSR cookware. In India there was plenty of kerosene to be found. In Thailand I used lighter fluid to cook. I drive down to Mexico and use propane. I live on rice, chicken, fish, and vegetables, for breakfast...
  8. Hi Scott, I
  9. Hi Rita, Traveling through Thailand and India, I used a Nova multi-fuel stove to cook as many meals as possible. I cooked things like vegetables and eggs. I did not trust any of the meat in India. They do not use anything to keep the meat cold. For fuel in Thailand I used lighter fluid. In India I used kerosene. I am now living in Mexico and cook lots...
