    YES!!!!!!!!!There are many,many symptoms of celiac disease - it can affect other organs so it is possible. Just so you're clear - for your doctor to diagnose coeliac he needs to do the blood test and an Endoscopy (down the throat) to take biopsies of the small bowel. It cannot be diagnosed through a colonoscopy (other end!) You also need to be eating...

    Fatigue (& joint pain) were also my hubby's biggest symptoms (not stomach probs)......doctors were talking about Chronic Fatigue before his diagnosis of coeliac finally turned up

    I do that!!!...first thing I do is look to see what's in the fridge (can you tell I think alot about food) Well,...have only worn them with my slippers and crocs so far..not ventured 'out' properly...but my friend wears uggs with her LOL suit...*snigger*...am I the only one who reads it as 'laugh-out-loud' ??     Ursa made a good point. Alot of prescription food in the UK contains 'Codex A' wheat starch - although deemed 'safe for coeliacs' NOT all coeliacs can tolerate it - just checking you are aware of this
