  1. Yes, that could be my post (what you said there..). and I would add 'feels like I'm dieing'. I am also self diagnosed because all the tests came back normal except that I have not had blood work because there isn't enough money on this planet to make me eat gluten again for a diagnosis. As a note here... I find that, because I am of the C variety, when...
  2. I have tried and tried to change my avatar.. and I tried the f5 as well. Nothing changes. (I delete and reload, save, hit f5 - nothing)
  3. Here I go... stirring the pot... but - I am going to start a support group... and I am self-diagnosed. WAIT!!! There is a good reason. I live in a very small town and we have to drive 2 hours to buy any kind of supplies other than rice flour and about 8 other things. Secondly, the doctors here are very slow to recognize anything other that a positive...
  4. This is exactly me too... I feel better, satisfied with foods but... when I eat I don't get sick so I eat happily...and more. I and haven't lost, that's for sure.

  8. I've had 6 years of all kind of tests for everything but Celiac. I recently had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and biopsy.. everything 'normal' and I am obviously fine. After years of being sick I found all this gluten info online and went gluten free... BINGO. I feel wonderful now... but.. I am still undiagnosed, except by me.
  9. I am going to add 2 cents in here too. I thought I was eating gluten free for the last 3 weeks and couldn't figure out why I still felt sick. Now I realize - I was popping shelled sunflower seeds into my mouth every once in a while, I had made myself something with cinnamon and I had tums a couple of times. Tums have maltodextrin, cinnamon can be cut with...
  10. I have been fighting different symptoms for many years, doctors finding tests 'normal' for whatever they tested for. I finally found info online that pointed me towards gluten. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and biopsy (I asked about Celiac disorder). The results? Everything was wonderful, my intestines showed no disease whatsoever. Since...
