    could you also tell me if typical blood test, celiac panel, will test for all allergies to wheat... I mean if I have allergy to gluten but it attacks another part of the body other than the gut will the blood tests pick that up??? Hre is the website I've been looking at with info about tests. He shows videos on another page and one talks about it attacking...

    UGH! Thank you for your help. I keep thinking I will go gluten-free and then something makes me wait. My skin is so itchy and my stomach is a mess.     Cara, I am so new to this... why don't you consider yourself positive? You had a positive and then your body healed so well by getting rid of gluten. Just trying to figure out about the testing... is there something I'm missing that makes you need to add back gluten to go get retested?

    awwwwww 2 months. if only, if only I hadn't done the gluten free thing due to potty stuff. i just had my blood test this afternoon and i bet i'll get a negative too. thank you. that does put it into perspective.     Hi. Thanks for writing! We haven't gotten the blood test result yet. I am concerned though since she is only 18 months and I've heard it's hard to get a positive at that age. Also I had her gluten free for about 5 days before the test. The doctor said it wasn't a big deal and that she just had to have eaten wheat in the last 4 weeks. ugh... My blood...

    I don't think she has any of that. She suddenly developed trouble with wetting the bed after I had increased wheat in our diet (english muffins and pb&j sandwiches). That's what first tipped me off to wheat. Than the failure to thrive and the doctor decided to test her for celiacs. I notice as we go on and off wheat that she is having sleep issues...

    confused... for supper tonight I was at someone else's house and had mashed potatoes and carrots... no gluten. I have had gluten during every other meal... why would I have a reaction tonight??? is it just a delayed reaction from lunch and breakfast and the last few days????
