  1. Thanks everybody, I have got some ideas. Its not going to be simple, (what in life is ever simple right?) But I think I have some ideas for grocery trips.
  2. Spoons are easy enough, but my cutting board is marble... Should I be concerned?
  3. Hello! My question is a really simple one. My family cooks dinner and eats it as a family on the weekends. During the rest of the week, dinner comes out of the freezer and is usually prepared in the microwave. I dont want to buy the expensive "TV dinner" type gluten-free foods, I would much prefer to make my own and then freeze portions. So far, I have...
  4. I fully understand where you are coming from. I have been gluten free for only 2 weeks, and its already happening. This morning, my sister asked me, "Are you the only one allowed to eat these tortillas?" I calmly explained to her that they were much more expensive than the regular tortillas and so it made sense to save them for me since I cannot eat the others...

    ARCHIVED #*@($ !#*^% Doctor!

I feel you. When I was finally told to go on a gluten free diet, it cured a rash I had had for about 5 years and had been told that it was everything from eczema to psoriasis. 6. Thanks everybody for the replies. Lol, so that was a universal, "Yes cross-contamination is important." That was exactly the information I was looking for so that you for giving it to me. I've labeled my own peanut butter jar, my own mayo, and brought my own toaster into the house. I know this is just the beginning, but, you have to start somewhere...
  7. I'm just wondering. I am very, very new to this diagnosis (2 weeks), but I have been reading everything I can get my hands on because I had no idea what to do. Since all of my symptoms (including a very knarly rash) have disappeared going off of gluten, I am desperate to do things right. But, my daughter (the baby in my avatar) and I have had to move into...
  8. Celebrating. My hands are healed!

  9. Thank you everybody for replying. I still dont know what to think. I am satisfied with the diagnosis myself...All my symptoms are gone, who wouldnt be thrilled? I would love to say that I am not tempted to cheat... but I did yesterday at a baby shower. Within 3 hours of eating a tiny crabcake, I had hives on my arms. Now, I have never had hives on my...
  10. Well, I am brand new to this forum. I have been suffereing from symtoms for about 5 years now. It started with a rash. I saw every dermatologist and they all said the same, weird eczema that didnt respond to meds (except high doses of steroids). Then I started having diarrhea almost every day, certainly every other day (sorry if that was TMI), and then finally...
