hi, there is a recipe floating around for bagels on one of the sites, but I just made them this morinng for my husband and myself, very good , they were chewy and yet had a nice crust, after following directions on recipe I just brushed them with egg yolk and then put poppy seeds on then baked. I think that seeing the flour mix has to be sifted so many times it would be hard to just do the 1/2 cup you need for 1 cake with the 3 diffrent types used . I also do this for my cookie flours , when I get them all out I sift and mix enough for at least 3 separate batches and seal and freeze remainer that way I dont have to go through all the work... -

hi after thinking on this, I realize alot of the paper back type ,and thin cookbooks are usually from an appliance , or a new product ,an example is bisquick I have several of theirs and cool whip and baking powder and coconut some are just pages others are 70 or more pages , and even today mixers will include their cook books for using with their appliance...

hi , in a pinch I have taken karo syrup/gluten-free and heated it with a little butter and touch of vanilla , its warm and yummy on pancakes also much cheaper than some of the maple syrups today . good luck -

I did check out all the cereals that say gluten free like barbara's and environkids, my problem is one of my allergies is iodine, crazy i know but because of it cant have shellfish, iodine salt or sea salt as well as some of the dye tests hospitals do that contain iodine in their dye. that is how we found i had an allergy to... -
