  1. Just bought 3 boxes of it (@2$ per box), great gluten-free "fun" alternative to the high priced "health food" store gluten-free cerals. I think it tastes alot better then the regular, and has the same sugar content as Cherrios. I hope we get 1/2 sugar cocopebbles too.
  2. Pack him his own food if you MUST go. Thats the simplest method. But I have had good luck wth Sante Fe Stake house, and Alabama Grill... but I dont order fries from any one anymore cept ones I make my self.

Cant speak for Canada but in the US, the would be in viloation of health dept rules if they tired that. I know this from all the stupid training they made me take to get my permit to be a short order cook way back when I used to do that. I assume Canada would be the same. Its just another myth...
  4. MIllet? My birds love it... but never tried it myself
  5. Ah... cant say I have ever eaten thier fries... or heck even seen a Jack in box in a long time.....
  6. hrm... maybe not? Sooo hmmm.... now what I wonder.
  7. Welp back in TN and i just had my nieghbor test me with her glucose meter. My fasting level was 115, so that elimates hypoglycmia and diabetes at least.
  8. No matter what any resturant says about gluten-free items, the oil friers are probably the easiest place for gluten-free-foods (ie french fries) to get gluten. Personaly I just do not get deep fried foods while out, have my own frier for that at home. If you do want to risk it, thats fine, but I HIGHLY advise you grill the heck out of them about the oil....
  9. I have siad many many times not to trust the fries at Mcdondals.... no one wants to believe me... and yet this is another example why. I have always had a gluten incident at McDondals. I never go there any more.
  10. Hmm does any have a good link on this cananda stuff then? I wonder... my neighbor back home has one of htem blood test kits... wonder if I can test my self for hyperglicima...
  11. I know they can do breath test for fructose, and lactose... dunno about anyothers...
  12. Was I looking at the wrong thing then? NIH says endoscopy is how they test for it.... Open Original Shared Link
  13. Plan to get test for all the food allergies that they can fit on my back. I need fine out how/etc to get tested for the intolernces though. PLan to ask about that.
  14. See part of the problem (okay most of it maybe) is that I dont think I ever gave my doc a complete list of symptons... I can never think of everything while I am there... thats why I am working on this list.. I do not think for example I ever mentioned the shakes, or eating episodes... so she prbly would not have tested for hypoglycmia...
  15. WEll, dang it, I wish I was home (for lots of reasons) so I could pull my blood work (I always make them send me a copy of all resutls) and see if hypoglycemia was tested for. After 3 years of test you'd think I could keep track of it all mentaly LOL But that would fit some of the symptons prbly. As for gluten. Since its just my wife, my celiac disease...
  16. Thanks thats a greatlink but it does not sound like it fits.
  17. Hmmm not heard fo this one.. will have to look it up inthe AM too...
  18. Yes.. but I have to say its inconsistent. Some times I have a "bad" reaction, and I will have been eating very good (as in strict diet) for long streteches. I am scheduled for Food Allegry testing on the 25th, I plan tot ask if they can do intolernce testing too. While I have had bad spikes.. I have just never really gotten better, and I think over all...
  19. I still make it from time to time at home...and I like to add Divinci Flavored syrups to get some funn floavrs like taosted marshmellow !
  20. At this point I am convinced it is not celiac disease with me (and convinced it IS celiac disease with my son), but I dunno what it could be or where to turn. I feel like I am getting worse with time, and that is cause for concern I think. Here is what I know... In case it matters, I am a 30 year old native born American "white" male with "Native American...
  21. Is DQ the only safe Icecream place then? IM soooo parnoid about taking my son anywhere now... and its only worse since we have egg to worry about now too.
  22. Im still gassey/in pain/etc today... how long does it take to "get over" it? I know it takes my son 2 weeks with gluten... but hopng this is not like that.
