  3. I make my own..I use Better Than Bouillon beef , add it to the pan the meat was cooked in. add water and some garlic, some onion powder and thicken with cornstarch. Scrape all the goodness off the bottom of the pan, add your meat back with your sauteed onions and mushrooms. Season if you like.
  4. Crunchy oat chicken sounds very good. How did it turn out? I have a turkey in the oven. My house smells wonderful! Stuffing, gravy, smashed potatoes, corn and broccoli.

  8. Sounds great but with my brain fog I am sure I would forget a few ingredients! I made Salisbury steak with onion and mushroom gravy, rice and cauliflower and carrots.

  16. I am thinking it might be because the recipe is for a standard gluten cake mix which is bigger than a gluten free cake mix?
  17. I got a four pound hunk of beef today so cubed it and put it in the oven with beef stock, green pepper, onion and garlic and African seven spice and spoon of tomato paste. Cooked it two hours and it was delicious. Steamed potatoes and fresh corn.

  19. Anyone have a homemade Tortellini recipe? The weather is cooling down and my daughter was asking for my Tortellini soup. I did make it but put dumplings in it. It's just not the same.

  22. I found a recipe a while back using potato instead of rice but I think rice would work better flavor wise for some soups. I did a sguash soup using potato and it was good.

    I have made Bannock about 4 times already. I found it a bit moist inside so I cut down on the X-gum and it was a lot better.
