  1. As far as playdoh goes, I had great success with making my own for my 2.5 year old! Look online for the recipe. You can send it school with your child and let the tacher know that that is the only thing they can use!
  2. My son was 23.8lbs at 28 months and wearing 18m shirts 24m pants (fully tightened adjustable waist band). After gluten free for 1 month he is visibly taller and "thicker". He has not been weighed yet since going Gluten Free January 6 2012. His belly isn't swollen and hanging out. He's is becoming much proportionate. HUGE DIFFERENCE!
  3. There is a cream you can get from your dr. that Needs to be applied 1 hr before the blood draw then again 20min before the blood draw. They won't feel a thing! We used it for my 2.5yr old son and he watched the nurse do the whole procedure and never flinched It was a pain free experience!
  4. Before my son was diagnosed with Celiac, I was trying to get him to eat ANYTHING! So i found the "healthy" packets of CREAM OF WHEAT... Poor kid It was Poison! We've all been there!
  5. I feel for you! Been there It's very frustrating for you and your daughter. I would get to the point of tears and just want to beg my son to eat. My son would be screaming/crying by the end of dinner. Once we found out he had Celiac, it became easier. But the best method we've found for meal times is make something that the whole family can eat and don't...
