  3. Be careful of Walmart's Great Value brand. When my daughter Kailyn reacted to their yogurts they told me they could confirm or deny whether the yogurts contained gluten...I even talked to the corporate office!!! Outrageous.

  8. I second the tinkayada pasta and velveeta- it's great! Or just use shredded cheddar cheese, it's good too. I haven't tried the annie's but we like the DeBoles rice pasta. It's white sauce though.
  9. I never considered NOT giving her milk...hmm, have to ponder that one. My biggest concern is her weight. She was oborn at about 75% for her age weight wise, but has continued to drop since birth. Though she is long for her age, she's only like 15% for weight. The added fat is a big thing right now. Just trying to maintain, much less gain weight.

    ARCHIVED Fast Food

Where did you find the information?
  18. Thanks for all the responses. And yes, Kailyn has always had issues with lactose intolerance, but her GI dr seems to think that after about 6-12 months gluten-free that she may be able to tolerate milk again after healing takes place. We'll see.... I do buy yoplait, but she doesn't like the fruit chunks (the best part, right?) in the yogurt. The stonyfield...

  20. Ok, bear with me here, in laws won't divulge exact recipe, but basically goes like this 1 bunch of chopped and steamed broccoli, 4 cups of cooked Rice (brown rice is really good in this dish) 6-8 oz of Velveeta cheese, melted (I usually use 1/2 velveeta, and 1/2 colby/ jack) 1 tbsp butter 2 tbsp of milk cornstarch (not sure how much I used before...
  21. With our first gluten-free thanksgiving coming up, I wondered who out there has great recipes or spins on favorites to make them gluten-free? My in-laws always made this gluten-free rice, broccoli and cheese casserole that was amazing. I'll get recipe for ya'll if anybody wants it. So come on, who's got something yummy??
  22. Finally...got an amswer....sort of. Lady at corportare headquarters said that though she still cannot tell me if the modified food starch contains gluten, the yogurts are manufactured in same plant with wheat, so it could just be cross contamination. She also said that Wal-Mart's policy is that if their product is 100% positively gluten-free the label...
  23. hey Guys! Once again I turn here for help. Kailyn got sick a few days ago after eating a wal-mart brand yogurt. I ahve been on their website all morning, and on the phone with them for 2 hours! They do not have the gluten content information, and keep transfering me to different departments! Has anyone else had problems with Walmart or with their yogurts...
