    Ive been gluten free since March, and where I hardly used to eat at all, now I eat constantly! I just can't stop. Gaining weight like crazy which I can afford a bit but not as fast as Im putting it on. Last night had a huge dinner of gluten-free chilli and then before I went to bed, two more bowls. Bad, but I was sooooooo hungry!!!!! I hope this stops...

    Tee hee hee "Gloating" woops sorry.... Maybe my body is going through withdrawal because I now smell like BO (sorry TMI) ALL the time, no matter how much I wash and "deodorize" and Im breaking out with acne that I never had a problem with either!?!? Headaches along with pain today, didn't eat much because I just don't want to puff up like a lump again...

    Lisa, granted I have reintroduced lactose, but even after eating a bowl of gluten-free cereal with lactose free milk during a week of lactose free, same thing!?     I have tried the papaya enzyme but thats about it...I will try those...I still look like I swallowed a pumpkin...not sure what else Id have an intolerance to, and why now that Im on the GFD!?     Everyone out there who has been gluten-free for a while....Every single time I eat something now, I end up with abdo pains, and I look like Im six months pregnant!?!?     Peter... You are obviously well informed, and have done alot of research...but for those of us who are newly diagnosed, we RELY on those with the education (pharmacists/docs etc) to help find safe medications etc. Even though they may put all the ingrediants on the lables alot of the terms are vague. Its not even on the pharmacists computer, they have no access to it, so even armed with a printout I wouldn't trust it, especially if I had celiac children.     Thank you Lisa...Ive already been to the doc re my kidneys but they don't care. Had urinalysis done, tests show significant calcium crystal growth blah blah blah, its all the celiac and thats the end of it, two doctors and a nurse practioner! So until one of my kidneys fall out, I won't go back to her. She treats me like a headcase, throwing meds my way...

    Hexon, its very hard to be patient with someone who shrugs their shoulders and walks away from you, telling you that if its JUST an intolerance then no biggy, but IF it were an ALLERGY then well maybe we should look into it...they arnt asking questions and trying to inform themselves, that is the maddening part, there is no opportunity to explain yourself...

    This is for those of you who have been there done that! LOL Everytime I eat anything now whether it be dinner that hasn't been CC, or a fruit or a veggy, I bloat up like Im six months preggers!?!? Is this just my gut healing? The pain now is my kidney, not the abdominal pain that I had before...just the bloating, is this normal?

    Yes I always drink tons of water... and could urinate all day long, I sometimes equate myself with a perculating coffee machine! LOL Sorry too much information. I was told that celiac can cause kidney stones...dunno...my doc couldn't give me a difinitive answer, but did cite the "significant calcium crystals" in my urine as the result of celiac.

    Okay all for fear of sounding redundant....Ciliac can cause kidney stones yes? So am I over reacting in asking my doc to do a renal ultrasound, or should I just do as she says and stay on the GFD and suck up with the pain and deal with it...see if the diet helps? How long do I wait...How long do I sit in pain to see if the diet alone will make all things...

    Sarunski, I know what you mean about the expense...I can't afford the diet either as we are on one income, Im just buying some things here and there, and trying to stock up on some ingrediants so I can make my own stuff. I deffinately can't afford for my whole family to eat that stuff, and unfortunately because of the no preservatives, it goes bad much faster...

    Oh my god it was Walmart! Fabulous! I have to say that the other two pharmacists there, TRY to be helpful and the last one I asked said I dunno call the manufacturer, she also had no interest in calling for me. I took my pred last night, but was in mucho pain anyways from my kidneys, so it could have been just that. Well back to bed for some much needed...
