  2. Thanks everyone. I do not believe he is autistic because he is "normal" in all other areas. He is very affectionate keeps eye contact, pretend plays, et.... We have had a referral for speech therapy but my husband didn't think it was "necessary" at the time. I think he's finally realizing that there is some thing off. We are going to doucument this next...
  3. Has anyone else had a toddler boy who has had speech delays? He's barely forming 2 word sentences. Our daughter at this age was talking in complete sentences. I know you cannot compare girls/boys and one child to the next. The dr was concerned snout it at his 2 year check up. I am on a gluten free diet and have tried both my kids on it as well. My husband...
  4. I too have gastritis, the stomach inflammation . Hope all turns out for you.
  5. Ahhh, hang on there! I know how challenging it is. I struggle with the stupid gluten demons everyday and have caved a few times. I think it's normal. I definitely have my ups and downs. It will get better. ((Hugs))
  6. Sorry for your frustration. A colonoscopy doesn't test for celiac an upper endoscopy does. That's what they need to do. As for the rash I don't know. Do you have pictures? Hope this helps. Have you tried her on a gluten free diet to see if it helps?
  7. What a rough journey. I love the mayo clinic in MN. I'm a bit impartial though because I was raised in MN, and they saved my life. Trust the drs there they have helped me and several of my family members in the past. Hang in there and I hope u get the answers you need and deserve.
  8. Sweet the Larosas is in my neighborhood!
  9. ((Hugs)). Hang in there. Kids sometimes just don't understand and are unthoughtful. Hang in there.
  10. Taking B12, a good multivitamin with a probiotic, watching what I eat and taking it a day at a time. Hope this helps. I hit a slump about then too and started the above and I feel much better. Hang in there.
  11. I have gotten 2 B12 shots. I don't know if it is from them or from going gluten free that has helped me. I guess it could be a combo of both. I hope you can get your energy back because I know how miserable it is without it. Hang in there. I do know that it takes time.
  12. Oh The Lucky One book by Nicolas sparks! I just started reading daughters for a time by Jennifer Handford. So far it's really good! I also like The Pact by Jodi Picoult.

    ARCHIVED Ttc

I don't know but wishing you luck.
  14. Please forgive me if this doesn't come out correctly. What is low carb? It is still made with wheat/flour right? It isn't gluten free that you are eatting? I read somewhere on here you need to be eatting the equivalent to 3-4 pieces of bread daily. I hope this answered your question.
  15. I say it's not going to hurt to try it. That's what I did when we went gluten free, I gave away all the bad food, and started with only approved. When we figured out who is sensitive and who isn't I've added luten foods back in the house but my husband knows where his food is and I label what's gluten free so he knows what the kids can have. It's very...
  16. Yes I'm positive because I had a sandwich, long story. I've only been at this 6 weeks.
  17. Usually I get extreme fatigue, headaches, stomach ache, and really irritable. This time after being glutened I had a different reaction. I only have a terrible stomach ache. Is this normal? Help please.
  18. French Fries: Potatoes, vegetable oil (canola oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural beef flavor [wheat and milk derivatives]*, citric acid [preservative]), dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate (maintain color), salt. Prepared in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness...

  20. I just made the Cherrybrook chocolate cake. It was really yummy! No dairy involved if I remember. It was vanilla, water and oil. Yummy! They have awesome pancakes too! They taste just like regular.
