  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Hi, my Holistic Dr. has me taking CompleteGest by Enzymatic Therapy. I think they do help. I haven't tried any others so I don't really know. I did start having more normal stools after I started them.

    ARCHIVED Omega 3

I've been take Omegas for over a year now. I can't really tell if they have done anything but I do think most people need them. The one my Holistic Dr. has me take is Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega. Some of us with tummy troubles have problems with burping and at least these are lemon flavored. Nothing like the taste of dead fish
  4. Thanks Steve, I was taking 1000 mcg in oral form before the injections and it didn't help. I'll look into this. Funny thing is I've not been told I have pernicious anemia but the Dr. did note on my chart that my high MCV was from a B12 deficiency.
  5. Mouse Nobody here will give my shots but thanks. KrisT Thank you, I know I need to relax. In the last 4 yrs. Iv'e had trouble with panic attacks. I'm going to give it a try. Marcia I was thinking I should be able to give them in my thigh but Dr. didn't tell me so didn't try! Thanks Oh and I had a thought ..........through the brain fog...
  6. I know there are others on this board that give themselves B12 injections. I am having a hard time here....... In April after I had a vitamin deficency test that showed I was low in B12 and I was feeling like crap (chronic fatigue) (even though I'd been gluten free for 8 months) my Dr. prescribed B12 injections 3 times a week. I did ok giving them in the...
  7. I agree I sent them an e-mail too. I don't eat alot of cereal but these were great as just a put in a zip lock bag, take along chocolate fix. Why can't they leave stuff alone?????
  8. Julie, what recipe do you use? I sound like you . I just got a bread machine and I can't get the Pamela's brand mix around here so will be using another mix or maybe trying it from scratch.
  9. I think we are all different. I know I can only take a very small dosage of most things. I tried the Amitriptyline 10mg and was hung over for 2 days! Marcie, I also take 5HTP in the evening which is also suppose to help with sleep. I don't know if it will help by itself though, I've always taken it with the Trazodone. I am also taking hormones from a compouding...
  10. Marcia, I've been taking Trazodone for about a year now (every night). I'm going through menopause too I don't really get hot flashes but I do get nightsweats. Anyways, I have 50 mg tablets and I have a pill cutter and I take 1/4 to 1/2. I can fall asleep but my trouble is staying asleep. I ache all over. I'm not sure what that's all about, if it's...
  11. Were I live (in the midwest) there is oat straw and there is wheat straw. Also most hay is mixed grasses but that some times includes rye grass.
  12. I had a reaction from Hershey's nuggets just last week. I went first to the web site and I agree it's very misleading how it reads. I then called them, told them I'd had a reaction but was told they (milk choc w/ almonds nuggets) were gluten free. I'm pretty new to this and don't get classic celiac symptoms just feel like I've been run over by a steamroller...
  13. That's who my Dr. used. Thankfully I have a GREAT Dr. whos like a bloodhound. Started seeing her last year and Lyme was one of the first test she ran. I have or had alot of the symptoms on that list. She sees alot of people with Lyme as it's one of her specialties. Thanks!
  14. I was checked for Lyme's last year so at least I know it's not that. I guess I need to keep a food journel and go from there. Thanks
  15. Thanks for the links. I'll check them out. I had my B-12 tested 5 months ago, and it was only boarderline low. I maybe am just having trouble with other foods now or something because I have again been feeling SO TIERD.
  16. [quote name='Lymetoo' date='Aug 4 2006, 04:32 PM' post='179869' Terese.....What's up with the high MCV and MCH??? I have that too.
  17. I have really dry skin everywhere. My heels crack too and my boss has this problem also. Her thyroid dr. told her it was because of her thyroid being out of wack. This sounds strange to me. I just try to file my heels acouple of times a week and put on a good heavy cream for feet, socks at night if it's not to hot. My hands are another story. I have also...

    ARCHIVED 5 Htp

Steve, yes my hemoglobin and hematocrit are high with out the B12 injections and I've just had my blood tested again after being on the B12 for 4 months and it's still high, no change. The dr's note on the test says "probably due to low B12 & B6." I have never been told I have pernicious anemia. Do you have a clue what this means? I see others on the...
  19. Is there room in the closet for one more???? I find this very interesting. Everytime I have tried to quit I have very bad tummy and bowel troubles. Not the best reason to keep smoking I know.
  20. I'd like to know too. I'm going to try and quit again

    ARCHIVED 5 Htp

I've been taking 50 mgs of 5-HTP every evening for a year now. I had a lot of trouble staying asleep. I also take 1/4 of a 50 mg trazodone so I'm not sure which one is helping but I sleep like a rock now. Slept through a really bad rain storm a few night ago. I haven't had any trouble with 5-HTP.
  22. OOOOPs...... Thank you, it's in the oven baking!
  23. I bought a 1/2 a bushel of peaches and my DH wants peach cobbler. I do have a box of Arrowhead Mills Gluten free baking mix but I'm at a loss what to do with it with out a recipe. Thanks!
