    I wouldnt trust those test resuts. The labs most doctors use have something like 60% sensitivity for picking up Lyme. Thats real bad...you want something close to 100% sensitive when testing for something as serious as Lyme. This is why most cases go undiagnosed.

    I'm not doing anything specific as far as treating leaky gut. Candida and Leaky gut are generally a symtpom of a larger problem. For me its mostly mercury and other heavy metals...and I also have Lyme. I'm addressing those things since if it werent for them I wouldnt have leaky gut to begin with. My gut isnt going to heal with all this other stuff...

    Sorry...I guess Carla and Donna beat me to the punch about Lyme testing! So yeah...anyone else wanna add that Igenix is the best lab for testing??

    If you werent tested by Igenix...I wouldnt trust the test results. They have the most accurate testing for Lyme. Other labs are pretty useless for Lyme testing. I was at 94 lbs. awhile back...I also have Leaky Gut. Lyme could be behind it for you....I'd get tested through Igenix and see an LLMD (Lyme specialist) before ruling it out.

    Andrea, I dont think you need to worry...I dont think you guys have alot of issues for Lyme to even hide behind. If you did...you would be feeling it...and trust me...you would FEEL it. Soooo...if you ever got tested...if its there..I'm sure it would show up. I dont think you'd need to "stir" things up.

    Maybe its because of how Lyme can hide behind other things. It can hide within the mercury...same with Candida...it also burrows very deep into the tissue. Depending on whats going on with the Lyme...or other things you might be treating...it might sometimes reaveal itself and then other times there is no sign of it?? Kind of in the same way that its...

    Well...I'm hoping we'll all be better by then. Even if I was 100%....eating mickey mouse shape pancakes for breakfast and huge plates of spaghetti for dinner.....I'd still be there for you Andrea. And...anyone else who is looking for some help.     My understanding about the root canals making people sick is that its not so much about the metals...although I'm sure if you already have a problem with metals it wouldnt help matters. Its more about having a "dead" tooth in the mouth which can release toxins that would poison the body causing illness. It has to do with residual infections and toxins. ...
