  1. I cant tell if the bathball makes a difference or not. I actually wasnt using it at all until I started doing the epsom salt baths again in the last couple weeks. This is while I'm at my moms house. At home I got a showerhead filter and I really do notice a difference with it. I noticed it immediately. I use the shower to fill up the bath.
  2. Heres some info. about the bathball. I cant remember which site I ordered it from but if you google "chlorine bath ball" you'll find some and you can compare. Open Original Shared Link
  3. Oh yeah...as far as the minerals being all completely messed up on my Doctors Data reports he said that those results mean absolotely NOTHING. So thats a relief. He said the only mineral they care about is copper because it *should* be elevated after being given the DMPS. He said that the only thing the results show is that I had an effective...
  4. OK...heres an update on my visit with Dr. S. The appt went well....good discussions and more questions for Dr. Amy. He actually agreeed to her plan of pulling metals out more consistently by adding in the transdermal DMPS on the weekends that I'm not doing any IV DMPS. He said as long as I dont use the cream within 3 days of having IV DMPS and...
  5. I think you should ask your BioSET practitioner what she meant by your thyroid is "high". How would she determine that with her testing? Are you sure that she was saying that you have an overactive throid?? Did she say that specifically? If you did indeed have hyperthyroid it would more than likely be apparant in you lab results. A need for more thyroid...
  6. Wow Lisa...I'm so happy to read this! You feel good enough to go to work?? Thats AWESOME!! Its clear from reading your posts that you're in a much better place now...compared to awhile back. It makes me really happy....cant help but smile. It seems like you have alot less worries since you started seeing Dr. M?? I'm glad you like him and Dee...
  7. I cant wait either!! Is it monday yet??
  8. Lisa...I never worked at McDonalds. Imagine how many Big Macs I missed out on!!! I was working at Togo's which is *almost* as good...but nothing beats the Big Mac!!
  9. Remember the Le Creuset stuff I got for my birthday last year?? I use it everyday and I LOVE it....and its not toxic...it wont kill birds.
  10. Patti....very cute avatar! Its nice to "see" both you and Judy....I miss you two.
  11. Regarding GI Dr.'s....I had seen 3 different GI's and had alot of testing done....which led to nowhere. I was given the IBS label after all was said and done. I didnt get any answers and I'm positive that if I'd continued to see GI Dr.'s I'd still be at square one...never moving forward.
  12. When I have more time I'm gonna read those pages too....how FUN!! I remember it like it was yesterday too. So many good memories in those pages....lots of laughs. We all just really connected and almost from the start it felt like this was a really "cozy" place to be. Just like a pajama party. Sherry, I have problems with both cysteine...
  13. Yes Rinne....definately an evil genius!! You've figured out exactly how to keep me from racheling the ice cream sandwiches! Vegetables??? EEEEEK!!!! Veggies are evil....they are worse for me than sugar!! I knew there was a reason I avoided them all my life....it was my "intuition" telling me NOT to eat broccoli and to go for the McDonald...
  14. Rinne....PST = phenol sulfur-transferase. PST are enzymes which are involved in the sulfation pathway...a *key* detoxification pathway. Usually if there is a deficiency its because the body is lacking sulfates and the enzymes require adequate sulfate in order to function. The lack of sulfates inhibits the enzymes and slows down detoxification.
  15. Julie...heres some links to info. on PST deficiency, salicylates, sulfation etc. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link In my case I can be feeling pretty good until I start adding in foods. Depending on the phenol content of the foods I'm eating...
  16. No...only because I dont do well with any sulfur products I've tried. I've read that it can be helpful if you dont have problems metabolising sulfur. You would need to find out which pathway and go from there. Support the weak areas. Its probably most commonly the sulfation pathway. I think with the autistic kids its over 85% that have problems...
  17. awww...you ARE special Rinne!! We would love to see you here more often. Of course you are always missed but I just *knew* you would come back with some new and exciting news about your Rinne bars! I'm working on getting my body fixed so that I can enjoy them in ALL flavors!
  18. Besides No Fenol in addition to other enzymes and possible use of magnesium sulfate cream I'm also planning on asking Dr. Amy about homeopthaic sulfur for aiding in mercury excretion. I cant tolerate sulfur (its possible that I'm unable to convert to sulfate so it builds up to toxic levels) but homeopathic sulfur shouldnt have that effect and could be...
  19. I believe that in time the studies that are being done will reveal enough answers and that these conditions will be more understood and better treatments will be made available. What type of problems would this cause for someone who may already have deficient sulfation due to mercury, genetics or some other cause??? Would the pathway...
  20. This is a possible explanation for why some of us do not improve or have a negative response to glutathione. Glutathione itself can be used in detoxification, but that function appears to be dependant on the presence of sulfated glucosaminoglycans (GAG'S). Glutathione is a key to detoxification and it requires sulfur. Detoxification is dependant...
  21. Obviously this wouldnt be the case for everyone...but since most (if not all) people with chronic lyme also have issues with mercury I'm wondering if the main reason Lyme is so difficult to control is because of dysfunctional pathways and other metabolic process due to heavy metals. Everyone with chronic Lyme has difficulty with detoxification....otherwise...
  22. Heres more info about what can go wrong when sulfates are deficient in the body...especially with regards to the digestive system/intestinal lining.
  23. Right now I'm only taking No Fenol but I already ordered AFP Peptizyde (high in proteases) and Zyme Prime. I'll take all 3 of them if they end up testing well for me in ART next monday. Its the PST (phenol sulfur-transferase) that is found to be deficient in the majority of autistic kids. Its thought to be caused by a shortage of useable sulfates...
  24. Aww Julie. I was hoping that wasnt why you havent been posting much. Those damn outbreaks!! I hope you feel better soon. We miss you! When you feel up to it read some of my latest scientificness about PST and the sulfation pathway. I thought about you when I was researching this stuff. If you dont wanna go back and you're intertested just...
