I got my No Fenol enzymes. I'm gonna start taking them tonight but I'm not sure yet what I'll eat and I'm just a wee bit scared. I'm scared it wont work...and I'm scared that it WILL work and give me a big dose of die-off from yeast. Anyways...trying it out should give me more clues as to whether or not I'm on the right track with this... -

When I used the conventional sauna at the gym it would get that hot....and I LOVED it!! Look up FIR saunas...you can read all the differences between this type of sauna and the regular saunas. As far as detoxing goes the FIR is superior....it pulls out more toxins in the sweat. If you went to the gym for your sauna it was most likely... -

I dont know why but this seems to be the only way my brain works....it doesnt accept any diagnosis or treatment w/out really understanding the "whys" and "hows" of everything involved. I'm just not really satisfied with anything until I feel like I know whats really going on. Unfortunately this stuff gets really complicated. I took a break from it the past... -

I think they are working on a test for this but right now I think its identified by certain symptoms or clues in other types of tests. The most obvious clue is a sensitivity to salicylates and other phenols. If a person reacts poorly to aspirin as well as foods which are high in salicylates it would be a pretty good indication that the PST enzymes are low... -

It looks good but I really dont know anything about the brand or how pure it really is. I'm at the point where I just dont try anything w/out also having it tested. I feel better about using things I test well for and also I prefer the brands recommended by my Dr.'s because they are usually high quality and designed for people who are sensitive....like me... -

Sherry, Dr. Amy recommends this green coffee as well. She says her patients do better with it for some reason. Thanks Patti. I checked out that site back when I first started the low salicylate diet. I had ordered some shampoo and conditioner...I cant remember if it was from the andrearose site or another site with salicylate free products... -

If my liver cant process phenols...they accumlaute to toxic levels making me feel alot worse and alot more reactive. So can this still occur with ecoffee?? Does it need to go through the liver in the same way as the foods I eat or anything that enters my body through the skin? I can see how a person with good pathway function would benefit from coffee... -

I actually do ok with warm water e's....there were a couple times where I've felt "off" but ususally its not a problem for me. The ecoffee seems like it causes a reaction though. When I wasnt already in a reactive state I've been able to handle it but if I was already reacting to everything around me...the coffee just added to it....whereas water doesnt really... -

When I started this thread the subtitle was "I might be able to eat dairy!!" I thought I was onto something with having a corn intolerance. Obviously, there was much more to it. I can eat stoneyfield ice cream w/out any obvious reaction....but in the overall picture it was stressing my system and feeding candida bigtime. My candida antibodies were... -

I'm excited about this because I think researching about the PST deficiency has been my biggest "OMG...I might be onto something" moment yet!! Then again...I'm not sure anything beats the "I might be able to eat dairy again" moment. -

Rachel--24 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
If I do have a PST deficiency I think that would be the main cause of my gut issues. I do feel that this is likely the main reason for my symptoms of toxicity and obviously the reason for having to follow such a restricted diet. It seems like the Epsom salt baths are making a difference already. I also ordered No Fenol enzymes and those should be here... -

About the e-coffees...I dont do them anymore. I havent done any in a few months now because I found that alot of the time I was reacting. I was reacting with the same typical symptoms that I get when I eat the wrong foods. So does anyone know if the e-coffee would enter the bloodstream?? I get symptoms as if I'm ingesting it. Theres alot of things... -

They can treat it...but it doesnt always work. I dont take any vitamins and I'm not concerned with it at this point. When my toxic burden is lighter, things are functioning better, tolerance is higher, etc....I will take whatever I need. Right now getting the metals out is more of a priority. If you have parasites, yeast, etc...you can take all the vitamins... -

For heavy metals I would recommend Doctors Data for both hair and provoked urine testing. Open Original Shared Link They also run tests for parasites and bacteria. I think they offer good tests but parasite testing is still very unreliable. Heres a link to candida testing.. Open Original Shared Link BioHealth has a D-Arabinitol test for Candida... -

Lori, I've only had the Myers cocktail once and I didnt react well to it....I felt bad afterwards and I wasnt given any more after that. It was a "test" prior to starting chelation....my Dr. said that if I handled the Myers cocktail then I could proceed with the provoked urine test and chelation (if necessary). I failed his test. They had taken the... -

I agree....I've only done 6 hour tests following a dose of IV DMPS. I think 24 hour tests might be too diluted. Most people who are mercury toxic wont have it showing up in hair. Other metals can show up in hair...but mercury usually does not. The hair analysis is definately useful as it can identify the probability of mercury toxicity even when there... -

There is not one single cause for leaky gut....alot of things can cause or contribute to leaky gut. For example if mercury were to suppress the immune system it can create an imbalance of good/bad bugs in the gut. Antibiotics, poor diet, alcohol, chemicals, etc. can all make the situation worse. If you have an overgrowth of yeast it can cause leaky gut... -

Yeah...for me it was Stoneyfield! OMG...those were the days!! I ate cartons of the stuff daily....for about 9 months straight. Course....thats when my yeast antibodies were through the roof. Oh well....I was definately liking it....even if I was almost non-verbal most days. -

I dont think I wanna see them. I'm totally up for seeing all kinds of parasites and other "unpleasant" things....but ecoffee?? Nah....I think I'll have to pass. Its not alot of fun doing them....and I imagine alot less fun watching someone else do it. -

Its got some good stuff in it. He always gets to do all the fun stuff...I'm jealous! I liked how he said that the Dr. K. events are like going to Disneyland...
