  1. Ooooh....I forgot to mention that my Doctor's Data results are in. I wasnt expecting them for another week because the nurse had told me it would take longer due to the holidays. When I went in for chelation on Friday I asked the nurse to check "just in case" even though it hadnt even been 2 weeks yet. The results were in but she couldnt release...
  2. Andrea....there seems to be alot more info. available now with regards to interpreting the hair analysis. Either that or I wasnt looking hard enough back in 2004 when I had mine done. I wish I had come across this stuff back then...I might not have wasted so much time. I did read somewhere that if calcium was elevated and minerals messed up....you...
  3. Here is the best description of hair analysis interpretation I have found...its long but very informative. Introduction: Mercury poisoning is difficult to determine; mercury "hides". Trying to figure out whether someone has mercury poisoning is not an easy, direct thing to do. You cannot just test the level of mercury to find out. That is,...
  4. Florence, You are right to believe that you have some predisposition for candida overgrowth...every one of us who suffers from it does have a predisposition. Unfortunately, things are going wrong in our bodies long before the system breaks down and we become symptomatic. While antibiotics are well known to be the #1 cause for candida overgrowth....there...
  5. April had some good suggestions for detoxing and helping the liver. I take a suuplement for the liver....2 Dr.'s have both said it tests great for me so I continue to take it. I'm taking Ketotifen to help heal leaky gut. I do FIR saunas, chelation, detox baths, occassional enemas and I may be looking into colonics when I start my parasite treatment...
  6. I spent a great deal of time researching candida a few years ago....and I still continue to learn more and more. I know that this is not what you want to hear but "killing" the candida is not necessarily the answer. If you had no underlying issues your immune system would deal with candida on its own. Candida is a part of our normal ecology.....
  7. For some reason the page isnt accessible right now. Most of the Biohealth pages arent opening for me now. They were working fine earlier today...I listened to the Candida program earlier today....but its not opening right now. I'll try again tomorrow.
  8. The way to address the hypercoagulation is with specific enzymes that break down the fibrin which cause the blood to flow less freely. So yes...I think its very necessary...personally I think all people who are chronically ill should help themselves by treating the hypercoagulation. When you remove the fibrin it makes it easier to treat the infections...
  9. When I started supplementing high doses of calcium citrate last month I got white spots all over my fingernails. I stopped taking it and the spots are no longer there....I only have one left now.
  10. Hi Susie!! Nice to "see" you. I have some links on hypercoagulation. I'm pretty sure miscarriages can be a result of hypercoagulation...it might mention it in one or more of these pages. Hypercoagulation generally is a result of underlying issues...mostly the kinds of things we talk about here...there might be other causes listed on these...
  11. ' I think everyone here can agree that having answers (as scary as some of them may seem at first) or at least having some *idea* of where to start looking can take a tremendous load off. We were all very relieved to get diagnosed finally!! For me...theres nothing worse than "not knowing"....it was really a bad time for me. Both mentally and physically...
  12. I would recommend you see a specialist regardless of the results. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis...it cannot be ruled out even if tests are negative. Having said that....you might have a negative test that is still suggestive of Lyme.....which warrants furthur investigation (additional testing). You can post the results of your Western Blots in the Lyme...
  13. Unfortunately the DNA testing is not very sensitive...meaning that the DNA actually has to be IN the sample to get a positive result. Usually Lyme is "hiding"....its an intracellular bacteria so its not usually easily picked up in blood or urine. BUT....if it DOES show up...there is no question as to whether or not Lyme is an issue. If the DNA is present...
  14. Paula, Sorry to make your head swim with all this info! Most of us here have found that its a bunch of different things...which are not seperate issues but all interrelated....sort of a cascade of events which lead to chronic symptoms. Since your #'s are still elevated you are obviously not healing like you should. If its not gluten you might...
  15. I have chelation today.
  16. Today is the first day I've had where I can actually RELAX. I do have chelation but not until later today. Going back to meeting Donna....cuz I didnt have alot of time for posting but I was reading all along....trying to go by memory now. Yeah..I AM shy when I first meet people but I felt pretty comfortable talking to Donna! I dont...
  17. April, I saw your post about feeling like your head was big. I've had that problem since taking rounds of antibiotics and also having radioactive iodine treatment for Graves. I was already really sick and not able to work and the more insults to my body...the worse things got. I didnt know what was going on at the time. I had ALOT of insults in a short...
  18. Awww Birdy...Its sooo frusterating having to wait and when things arent moving along the way we want. There were plenty of times I felt the same way...this thread got me through it. I know Kassandra went through alot of rough times waiting to get to the point where things were actually moving in the right direction. You'll get there too....hang in there!
  19. Ok...so I'm pretty much totally eating normal food now. Yeah...I know I said It was a one-time thing but I guess it turned into a daily thing. I was already eating pumpkin before Xmas...now its pretty much everything...I'm still eating leftovers from Xmas dinner....yes...LEFTOVERS. I think the biggest reason is that one side-effect of the...
  20. I dont consider your post to be an opposing viewpoint since I've never once stated anywhere that... "every person who ever had a candida problem also has/had a mercury problem." I think I've always made that clear in our past discussions. Yeast binds with mercury so when there are high levels of yeast there are usually high levels of mercury and vice...
  21. Paula, As someone mentioned already its not likely that just one thing is going on. As the immune system is dealing with many different insults things start to pile up. It can start with the heavy metals...do you have amalgams?? Mercury puts a heavy burden on the immune system and can also affect every system in the body....including the digestive...
  22. She should be able to if thats something she regularly checks for. I know Dr. Amy checks for all coinfections as well as other infections. Shes primarily working with Lyme patients and Autistic children though. I'm not sure what Dr. E's experience is with Lyme...they both specialize in different areas.
  23. There is actually more info on Candida than anything else I've ever researched. Theres a wealth of info on this fungus....its symptoms and its causes. A Google search can provide you with endless hours of reading...there are also several books in the bookstore or on the web. Mainstream Dr.'s will not help you with candida...if you're lucky you can get...
  24. Andrea, I LOVE the new pic! Kristina, I'm very sorry about your holiday. You've had it rough lately...I hope the endoscopy will provide you with some answers.
