  2. I'm eating pretty much all natural foods now too. It's just so much easier and simpler. And after so many months of gastric distress, I'm finding I really like the taste of something simple much more than before -- especially if the food is good to start with, like a real garden tomato. Hitting up the farmers' market and my friends with gardens a lot lately...
  3. I had the steak cantina bowl last night and also a small bag of warm tortilla chips. It was wonderful to eat fast food that's actually real food. Natural guacamole, wow. I feel great today... of course I'm early in my diagnosis so I'm still not sure yet how sensitive I am (or if I just got lucky with no cross-contamination).
  4. I have a dysfunctional tendon syndrome known as PTTD that cause twisting ankles a lot. It's related to flat-footedness. I finally had to go to podiatrist because I could barely walk due to pain. I was fitted with prescription orthotics and ankle brace. If I hadn't gone, I wouldn't be walking today. Now I call walk okay but will probably always have to wear...

  6. Thanks for the welcome and all your insight. I can probably get a letter from my doc saying "severe gluten intolerance"... for the nursing home or jail or whatever LOL... Yes, my doc is a good one!
  7. I'm new also and just want to say I know how you feel -- I've been wanting a definitive diagnosis too but can't really afford more tests. I guess since the treatment is the same, it makes sense to just stick with the diet anyway, but I do understand your wanting to know exactly what it is. It sure seems that both celiac and gluten intolerance can sometimes...
  8. Soooo.... my blood test came back negative but my doc (who is a nice version of Dr. House and never gives up) suspected gluten intolerance and put me on an elimination diet.
