morning donna---do you know of a website where i could read about the research on soy and neurological damage---i do realize i have to be careful with soy, but am hoping i dont have to give it up all together---geez it's in everything---and yes--worse then the usual 4 culprits soy hides even better --maybe sometimes you could get kellogg's fruity pebbles... -

great mcdougall---so glad you feel so well---but, now that you think you need to stay away from peanuts--you probably should be careful of anything with soy in it--soy is a close relative of peanuts--just be careful--ok--i can have peanuts but have to be very careful with the soy---tuna packed in water often contains soy---read, read, read--keep up the good...

i cant eat tuna in water when its packed in veg broth made with soy--i have not checked the chicken out=-veggies in cans do not bother me, only the tuna--they hide soy in everything --deb -

mayo bothers me and it is made with soybean oil--its the 1st ingredient and the first 3 ingredients in anything are the biggest 3 ingreds of the products--if sugar comes first, then that prodcut is full of sugar--i also can not tolerate soy flour, but lecithin is ok for me--i dont understand this yet deb

dessa--i hear that all the time from people ---the thing is--they havent lived with what we have so they dont know what they are talking about --if they fell asleep sitting on the toilet night after night --if they rarely ever had a full night's sleep--if they woke in the night with hip pain so bad that it worked itself into your dreams and you woke crying...

and on the other hand----some times an allergic reaction to something is mild the 1st time and keeps getting worse after each reaction--my son was allergic to pediamyacin--the 1st reaction was mild hives--the 2nd reaction months later was more pronounced hives and the 3rd time and last--he borke out in huge hives that covered his body and i refused to give... -

you guys just reminded me of a time when my panic took over my mind--i had a meeting at school for one of my boys--he had learning disabilities and it was a meeting with a school social worker, 2 teachers, the principal, the remedial teacher and me--i was inpatiently waiting for them all to get settled and i felt as i had left my body and was floating around... -

my dad is 71 and just diagnosed a month ago--he has had stomach probs for as long as i can remember--he has been very sick since the day he retired 3 yrs ago--he is 6' tall and weighed at least 250 and is now finally going back up and is now at 167--he was down to 150 and so very sick--almost constant diarrhea and the doctors had no clue--we asked to have... -

geez. i about flipped when i read equal contains gluten ---then i was relieved when you said maltodextrin ----maltodextrin in the US is safe --it is made from corn--i believe they must state if it isnt made with corn, anyways, my sister the dietician checked it out and it is safe --i know that equal, nutrataste, sugar twin, splenda--most all sweeteners... -

morning maggie--to my knowledge, tapioca is not a cereal--i have used tapioca flour but otherwise here in america--tapioca is used as a pudding, and might i add, it taste wonderful, i love tapioca pudding and it is also used as a thickening agent like cornstarch--if its a cereal, its news to me , but then i am quick to add that i definitely do not know everything... -

maggie, deby, and lynn-----i had terrbile panic attacks before going gluten-free--at the time i went gluten-free i was taking 40mg of paxil daily and still having panic --after being gluten-free for a few months i decided i was weaning myself off paxil--it was hard, no matter what they tell you, you do get addicted to it --you need it--withdrawal was unexplained...
