i have always had tummy problems, but i think they became worse during my 2nd pregnancy and i was 20 then--i do know i was much worse by the time i was 26 and it wasnt until i was 46 that i found out about celiac disease :blink --i was diagnosed just as so many of us are with IBS or spastic colon and was told to reduce the stress in my life--just imagine... -

i too have been gluten free now for over 3 years and i have noticed over the last year that other allergies are popping up and it just doesnt seem fair --contrary to the way things normally are, celiacs seems backwards too me--once we have gone gluten free, it would seem things would just keep getting better, but somedays i feel like things just keep getting... -

your welcome celiac3270------burdee told me that it's the sucralose in splenda that can be a problem for some of us--sucralose comes from sugar--others like equal and nutrataste have no form of sugar in them--i do know that much of the candy they make now that is sugar free causes diarrhea in many people i have used splenda, but not long enough to notice... -

yes--equal is gluten-free and so much better then sweet n low--nutrataste and splenda are safe for us too--and like you think--maltodextrin is usually ok in the united states--cant be sure in drugs though--i use equal all the time---deb -

this one i can definitely help with--my son is the manager of a McDonalds and they never put anything else in the french fries oil--only fries go in it and i have had fries at McDonald's and been fine--i dont know if i would trust the burgers, only because you are only safe if the person with the turner isnt touching buns--it is so easy to not even realize... -
