  1. Eclara, I have that feeling right now. I get it every time I get glutened and found your question while Googling it. Kai
  2. Updated Lancaster Celiacs Restaurant page: Open Original Shared Link
  3. Effie Ophelia is now closed.
  4. Yes, this is an adhesive used to attach a variety of costume prosthetics. I found a gluten free eyelash adhesive: NYX Latex Free Eye Lash Glue. It looks perfect for my purposes, especially since I was hoping for latex free too because my significant other is allergic to latex.
  5. Is spirit gum gluten free? I am trying to determine if my Halloween costume idea is safe, but I cannot find any information on whether spirit gum is gluten free. I will be using it near enough to my mouth to be a concern and I get DH, so I would worry about putting it on my skin if it has gluten.
  6. Sheesh. Those don't sound like very good friends. True friends would not want to make you sick. If you've explained your condition and vocalized your problems with their restaurant choices, they should try to accommodate your food needs. Sometimes they will fail or will want to try a place where you cannot eat, but many restaurants will understand if you...
  7. If your school has a website with a forum or even a classified section, post to ask if anyone would be interested in a support group. You could also use Facebook and publish your post to the whole school. I've had food allergies my whole life and recently gave up the gluten that seems to be causing my fibromyalgia symptoms (they're slowly going away since...
  8. How long does it take to go away after going gluten-free? I do not want to cut out dairy until I'm sure that it's bothering me because I have enough food restrictions as it is (no gluten, soy, peanut, and quite a few more). If I don't get better in 6 months, I will try cutting out dairy, but I don't think I have ever had a problem with it.
  9. I've been gluten-free for a little over 2 weeks and I'm starting to get hungry more frequently and I can eat much more when I do. Before going gluten-free, I was nauseous most of the time and could barely eat, but I was also usually hungry. My ability to eat properly is slowly coming back. I still can't eat all that much at one time yet, but it seems like...
  10. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I had a negative Celiac test three years ago, probably because I freaked out when I heard Celiac and went gluten free before my test. I never really liked wheat, even cake, but I also didn't avoid it until 2 weeks ago. I went gluten free when I decided to do an elimination diet in case my pain was food-related and...
  11. I just called Neutrogena customer service and was told that the Fast Absorbing Hand Cream does not contain gluten.
