I typically can feel the reaction in my muscles in my back/shoulders before I feel them in my gut. My gut takes about 2-3 days to catch up right now. As for it being other items, I don't know. I haven't narrowed mine down to anything (maybe because I'm in denial about any other possible causes! ha), but I'm sure it's not out of the realm of possibilities...

Duhlina, Did you ever find anything that helped relieve the pain and itching while you DID have it? It's slowing going away, but I got glutened the other day and I have some bumps and they're driving me nuts. Can't walk without them being irritated and starting the down-to-the-bone itching! Good to know that yours went away when you were gluten-free.... -

For as long as I can remember, I have had small fluid-filled blisters on the bottoms of my feet and sometimes on my fingers. They got even worse after I had my daughter back in May. I do this all the time! Even on my daughter using the baby Vicks. According to SNOPES, some scientists did research to see why it works, but they couldn't figure it out. They just determined that it works 100% of the time. (Also, If you put garlic between your toes, within a few minutes you can taste the garlic in your mouth. CRAZY!) -

I always find my pumpkin puree next to the pumpkin pie filling - which is usually in the same place as all the other pie fillings. There are times when it's not available and I know we went through a shortage a year or two ago, but it's almost always available with the other pie stuff. If you can find Libby's pumpkin, get it...and then make a pumpkin pie... -

I have done the gluten elimination diet and feel a million times better. I did a gluten challenge to TRY to get positive results on the blood work and feel like crap. So, at least that is in my favor. Did not know about the Non-Celiac Gluten Intolerance bit. Good to know! Thanks for the replies. I guess we'll see what's up when I get the results... -

So, I went to see my doctor today. She is such a great listener. I told her all my symptoms and she readily agreed to the serum test for IgA. We were discussing the high possibility of it having a false negative and she made the statement that regardless of the blood test, she had enough information to make a diagnosis. I mentioned this to another friend...
