  1. You don't. They should not be used in the same sentence. They are not synonyms. -Jackie

  4. I've been gluten-free for 12 1/2 years but I'm 14, so I don't remember not being gluten-free. BUT, all I can say is that if I can be gluten-free in high school, YOU CAN BE gluten-free! YOU CAN DO IT! Heeheehee. -Jackie
  5. Ooh thanks. -Jackie
  6. I think it's strange some of us feel this way. People with dairy allergies don't go, "Oh, I feel so different, so left out, etc..." or ppl with other allergies. If I am wrong, I'm sorry please correct me. Just something I felt like saying. Btw, for the record, I have never cheated. I don't think I'd be able to. Like, I would really not be able...
  7. I don't know if this topic should go here or in the travel section, but whatever. Does anyone know any restaurants in Whistler ( ) that are gluten-free/have gluten-free food/ you know what I'm talking about? Thanks! -Jackie
  8. Aw, thanks, but I actually have nothing against fish or whatever. I had just watched Finding Nemo before I signed up here, so that's why it's my name. If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean. Hahaha. Thanks. -Jackie
  9. Breakfast - Cereal & Milk - the Glutino Gluten-Free Cereal Apple & Cinnamon is good, same with Enjoy Life Lunch - Sandwhich/Macaroni/Salad Dinner - Anything. I know I wasn't very helpful but sorry. -Jackie
  10. Canadian! Actually German and Polish. -Jackie
  11. My name's Jackie and I'm 14. Basically, if you toast your bread it'll taste a lot better. Also, peanut butter of whatever takes away the taste of the bread anyway so it doesn't matter to me. If your daughter wants to talk sometime, I'm here. -Jackie
  12. I think I'm just so used to it that it doesn't bother me. I know, I haven't tried gluten since I was two, but let's take fries as an example. I know what fries taste like but I can't have the ones at my cafeteria. When my friends buy them it doesn't bother me. Don't know why. I'm lucky. Yay! -Jackie
  13. I am a normal person. I just happen to have an autoimmune response when I eat gluten. Celiac has never stopped me from doing anything (except for once going to Mexico ) -Jackie
  14. I've been there before and I've had their sauces and they're really good. I didn't get a gluten-free menu though. -Jackie:)
  15. Aww thanks. I actually didn't end up having it. Feel better! -Jackie
  16. Don't worry. Just calm down, and stop thinking about it. If it makes you feel any better, I'm getting a blood test tomorrow. -Jackie
  17. Exactly. Some of my friends don't even know I have Celiac lol. Remember to focus on other things other that this. Stay happy! -Jackie
  18. Keep in mind that I haven't had any gluten since I was two, so you may not agree with my selections since even I have never tried them... Breakfast - A hot, fresh bagel and big banana nut muffin Lunch - PIZZA. I would love to know what gluteny pizza tastes like, and I would have real, deep fried chicken fingers after Dinner - Hmmm. Hard one...
  19. That is an amazing letter. As an aspiring writer, I have to say that if I ever have to write a complaint letter I will refer back to this one. It's really well written. I hope you get a good reply! -Jackie
  20. There is no argument. The answer is no, no cheating. That's the end of that. -Jackie

  23. I have an 88 average, I wouldn't worry about that lol. -Jackie
  24. Me too. 5'8, size nine feet and fourteen years old. I was diagnosed at two years old, so it's not like my growth was stunted for many many years, but I think I should be a bit taller than that. I like my height though, it's good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Jackie
