About Me

...... Ditch the Diet ... Live the Lifestyle..... Celiac Advocate - Gluten Free Awareness only 15% diagnosed - long road ahead

  1. My scalp use to itch all the time. What worked for me was using baking soda as a shampoo. I dumped a box into a sealable container & leave in shower. Then take a handful, mix with water & rub into hair. Feels weird at first, it doesn't soap up or anything, let it sit for a couple minutes and wash out. I used for 6 months and my hair was so healthy...
  2. Personally, if it was mine, I would try a little and see how I felt. There is a lot of chocolate companies that do not say gluten free but are.
  3. Let me say that the first year is the roughest. The first year after going GlutenFree I glutened myself a lot & reactions were tenfold compared to before diagnosis. I also started to get cold sores on a regular basis near my period that I always had to stave off, which didn't happen previous. Have you been tested for vitamin & mineral deficiencies...
  4. I love the products from Yes To. They are all natural and smell amazing. For general sunblock/moisturizer I use Hawaiian Tropic. Not only does it smell great but it makes my skin feel so soft all day long.
