Yea, after the blood tests come back I'm thinking of saving up for a food allergy test.... I caved and bought digestive enzymes to help the body, wouldn't hurt the gallbladder anymore, right? (haven't even checked that one yet....) What would be the recommended amount of probiotics daily? the stores have it vary between 5billion to 200billion, I bought... -

So at the moment I'm undiagnosed (my calprotectin is elevated but dudenum looks flat and colon/tileum are healthy, doctor is trying to test every which way for celiac....) but for the question: Do any of you when "glutened" or before you found out gluten was a huge culprit in symptoms, tend to lose weight unintentionally...

Thanks for the reply Fenrir! I feel you on the joint pain, mine is only located in the lower back at the moment. Sup GFinDC! I should have added that I haven't had any surgery yet, heck, they haven't even suspected my gallbladder after the mysterious endoscopy...... Yea... I'm thinkin if the doctor is questioning his own biopsy it doesn't hurt to stay gluten free. I don't know if the thyroid panel included antibodies, I know they were looking at t4 and t3. My mom had hormone issues after her last pregnancy, for her it's opposite with weight gain and constipation. It wasn't until she was put on testosterone and... -

Hello Cyclinglady! Thanks for the info, my mom has been pushing thyroid/gallbladder issues as well, even if my thyroid results had already come back normal. In total they took 5 biopsies, one in my stomach, one in the duodenum, two in the colon, and one in my terminal ileum. stomach came back as chemical gastrophy, which he blames for either... -

Quick question Fennir, By change did you notice any stomach pain or differences in stool prior to them thinking your gallbladder was the cause? After cutting it out any difference in shape, color, or consistency? Lol, nasty that I'm even asking but I'm currently going through this battle myself in getting a diagnosis and my guts occassionally burning... -
