  1. Hey Jay 81, any chance you still active on the site? I'd have to relate i'm an exact situation as yourself, and wanted to keep in touch for advice. 25 year old guy docs have me stuck EGID/ gastroenteritis/ celiac/ NCGI area, ive been their lab rat for 9 months with no conclusive evidence for anything, all I know is no grains no dairy being a life...
  2. I can relate dilettansteph, If i dare eat 5 or 6 small meals a day i'd be on the toliet everyday..... I've been gluten/grain/dairy free since March, with one time that I screwed up and ate gluten covered sweet potato fries. April 2014 - i weighed 136 pounds, as a 5'10" guy my doctor was starting to get concerned, thought I was freaking starving...
  3. sup guys, thanks for the tips! It gets me mad cuz I feel alot better off of the enzymes, but what am I going to do with a $20 bottle? ha, I'm sure I can hand it off to one of the parents... Yea, my improvement has been very slow this year, I'm actually will be prepping for a barium CT scan tomorrow so we can get a better idea of the middle. I...
  4. Sup guys! Yea it's been months with no diagnosis and I get really nervous as my new gi doc thinks the stools could be from pancreatic insufficiency or sibo on top of food intolerances. Since cutting out grains dairy and soy I've had a dramatic improvement, but I can't gain any weight and my stools are never perfect. Yea it'll be at least a month...
  5. Sup y'all, So far at best I've the doc thinks it's ncgi or possibly an eosinophilic disorder but that's another story. Gluten free for 4 months now, only once I ate Glutened fries by mistake.... I noticed my stools, which are slowly improving, always float. I freaked out and thought my pancreas is crapped out so I by digestive gold enzymes from sprouts...
  6. Yea, I walked into a safeway in Wyoming asking for almond butter and their face was priceless, it's as if I invented the stuff myself.... I was rushed this trip and forgot all food but bananas. Yea we still have 6 hours of driving, yea I'll have to grab pepto or Imodium, It's only been day two of symptoms and I'm assuming it's probably going to...
  7. Good morning guys, I am currently finishing a family trip from vegas/Denver/sturgis and it was my first vacation gluten free. ... Or so I thought My family made a very good effort to find placed to eat while driving, which still centered around salads but they found a spot that had sweet potato fries. I am still new to this and spaced on asking the...
  8. Good evening, So I got my lab results back before my doctor can review and I can't help but to ask your guys wisdom on results review. Lab results are: Dq2 (dqa1 0501/0505, dbq1 02xx). Positive Dq8 (dqa1 03xx, dqb1 0302). Negative Immunoglobulin are normal range, endoscopy has flattened duodenum..... I know y'all aren't doctors, ...
  9. Sup everybody! It was my day off so by nature it's a better day... I like the allergic to intelligence, lol. Yea all my current room mates eat nothing but fast food so I do plan to get an apartment on my own this august to have a cleaner kitchen for myself. Aside from my bathroom problems it has been a much bigger shock that people you think you are...
  10. Maybe theres a better place for this post, but I am just about defeated today. I'm in sprouts buying my all organic veggies for paleo grub, and I bump into one of my old friends. Long story short he's so worried over my weight loss he says I look like high school all over again and asked, "are you taking hard drugs man?" You gotta be joking, but...
  11. When you body is inflammed your immune system is weak and is open to attack...... really anywhere. I though I had pink eye and freaked thinking I picked up some bug but it wasn't until I made a slight adjustment to my diet did it slowly go away (pink eye attack was almost 3 weeks, I was most surprised my boss still forced me to work, was so degrading I wore...
  12. Yea, the g stamp is for no gluten ingredients used...... what bothers me with Trader joes is they stamp gluten free on the price tag, yet online they cannot guarantee the possibility of cross contamination...... contamination where? from the facilities maybe? anyways I live off of their creamy almond butter and have no reactions (its whats helping me...
  13. Good evening! I'm still undiagnosed but I have a close relationship with unknown heart palpitations Calisparrow, and although I think we have very different symptoms maybe saying what I had/have can help? At my worst I was an insomniac 2 hours of sleep was the longest I could get in, heart palpitations off of any easy amount of work/stress, and palpitations...
  14. I'm always hesitant to pass recommendations when I still don't know what's going on lol but so far I've noticed to start simple with probiotics, don't jump the guns. My mom swears for florastor, which is yeast based, and has used it for years. I can't handle it. We're opposites tho, she's usually constipated, everything tends to run through me...
  15. Good morning Tanikit! I'm undiagnosed and I don't have any medical advice in terms of glucose levels, but I did want to check and see how you were doing in terms of BMI. My symptoms haven't significantly changed just yet, but for me personally almond butter, olive oil, bacon, and avocados with healthy proteins have helped. As a guy it can be scary...
  16. hello Rally! I can't give you much on medical advice but I am also currently undiagnosed, and facing EXACTLY in terms of your stool discription. More constipated at first, more loose towards the end. From my experience my blood work came back negative too, I would push to see a GI. There not exactly any brighter than your doctor, but if you...
  17. wooooow, I am still undiagnosed, but waiting you hit some of my irregularities spot on. I'm just starting a semi paleo kinda diet, but I've noticed anything with vinegar (any kind of vinegar), after a few days i'll get burning/gnawing in the upper right portion of my chest, and similar enough will get the big "D". When I was first trying with probiotics...
  18. Good Evening, Not to sound super creep but I'm still undiagnosed but there are a few people on this website that have some amazing things in terms of personal stories, experiences, tips, facts, etc..... I was wondering how I would be able to know when they make new posts? is it like facebook where you make friends? do I use the search function and...
  19. Thanks for the wait, my work schedule can be crazy during graduation week here. and thanks for replying! Other personal experiences are key for me in deciding what direction to take, Im really baffled that my doctor works for a national recognized university and is this static over my health. to Nvsmom, the platelet count is concerning to me, as I...
  20. Third time the charm? Oh, completely unrelated, the colonoscopy came back that I had a few internal minor hemorrhoids. awesome, ha Colonoscopy pics: Open Original Shared Link
  21. Sorry, links I posted don't work, this should set it up. FYI the GI doc said I had a perfect colon prep, the only abnormality was partial chemical gastritis and my duodenum/ duodenal bulb looked extremely flat, the GI is still pushing the idea of celiac disease/ gluten intolerance. Of course, the biopsy for my duodenum came back normal, which...
  22. Sup guys, I've posted before but I thought after a couple months i'd be back posting my diagnosis/ sight of relief. I am nowhere close, the GI tells me after we've done a couple months gluten free we notice I'm not losing weight anymore that it is a success, keep doing what I'm doing i'll see him in 3 months. I wouldn't mind that reply except we still...
  23. wow, been a few weeks was swamped with finals. Thank you Kareng for the links, i'm slowly building a a reference list of favorites from the forum I can get easy reference too, the recipies are great. especially if I would get off my lazy @$$ and use the crockpot, looks like alot of good stuff can come from that. Fenrir i'm glad they found the damage...
  24. Good stuff buddy, your scope results sounded similar to mine... since that was still a wash I won't get my HLA genetic typing back until mid May..... Now that you're official you have to let me know what comfort/easy to make foods you find comfortable, as a dude I never realized how much damn time you spend in the kitchen when ALL you meals/snacks...
  25. Hello everyone! I would still technically be undiagnosed, but this question did pop up in my head this week too. At my work we have a full kitchen, and the chef has been really understanding of what I've been goin through. A couple days ago he slapped on a steak with just salt and pepper for me to eat, and a couple hours later I had the gnawing...
