  2. Seriously...how can a response like this help anyone?? Plus from what I heard from others on here, some of their products DO contain gluten. I hate companies like this. 5. I'm not in France but I have friends there. Celiac is much more widly known about/excepted there and many more main stream gluten-free products available. Maybe we should all move with you?! LOL
  6. Paul Mitchell list is guarenteed (posted the new one yesterday) and available in most beauty salons so you don't have to wait for the mail. Their gluten-free products are done in a totally different facility than their gluten containing ones so no cross contamination. Gionanni hair products are also available from Target. Hugs Bridget PS...
  7. Ya thats the site. So far my fave product is the Citrus Body cream...still have tons more from them to try, but I like the summery smells and the citrus is great! Coconut bar soap is good too! Hugs Bridget

  9. Honestly, my GI and I think it is probably from contaminated Zelnorm. It started when I switched Pharmacies and had nothing but problems there (The pharmacist even read ingrediants to me and asked ME if it contained Gluten). Beware of Carteret NJ Walgreens if your celiac. This was the first time I ever got Zelnorm outside the manufactures presealed container...
  10. Your welcome. In November I wrote over 150 companies....you can see replies under my posts (Usually under Product Update headings). Tomorrow I'll be posting the new Paul Mitchell gluten-free list I got today. Hugs Bridget
  11. In our area about the only place to get a decent selection of gluten-free stuff is at Wegman's and they like to price gouge because they know no one else carries it. For a long time my hubby and I have been on friendly terms with the guy, Mike, who runs the deli department at Shoprite (he had no clue I had celiac disease). One day we asked him about Boars...
  12. I've been gluten-free since Sept 28th and I know I'm not getting glutened. When I went gluten-free I felt 100times better for a long time but the last few weeks it is like I'm back to square one again with awful acid reflux. I'm getting more tests on thursday and my doc recommends doing a new colonoscopy and endoscopy after Christmas. I'm on protonix for...
  13. As a canuck I recommend www.penny.ca (its the Canadian Celiac Site). Has everything from travel, to gluten-free lists and everything you can imagine. Hugs Bridget
  14. I have the same problem so every day, along with lots of Fruits and veggies I have a snack of some "gluten-free Rice Bran Crackers" from Health Valley and drink lots of water. Rice Bran is a godsend to celiacs with constipation. Hugs Bridget
  15. I'm just over the bridge from you in NJ. Just over the Arthur Kill. I know of a support group in East Brunswick, but I just stick with online groups...easier than being stuck in traffic, and made some great friends this way. Hugs Bridget
  16. I like the "Asian Gourmet" gluten-free crackers and the "Edwards and sons" Cheddar gluten-free crackers (kinda hard though).
  17. November 17, 2005 Dear Bridget, Thank you for contacting Nestlé. We welcome questions and comments from our consumers. For several years now we have been following a strict labeling policy with regard to any of the "Big Eight" allergens in our foods and incoming ingredients. We have insisted that our suppliers notify us if gluten is used in any ...
  18. I'm the one who mentioned about Swiss Miss (Posted this before) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ November 16, 2005 Dear Bridget, Thank you for contacting us. The following ConAgra Foods products do not include gluten from wheat, barley, rye or oats as ingredients, either listed specifically on...
  19. I mis Karmen's (a local pizzaria) greasy pizza, cambells chicken noodle soup and Shop Rite Banna Cream oatmeal.
  20. I miss Boston Pizza since I left Canada (BC) and now live in the US. I used to go eat there back before I was gluten-free, and would go home for a visit. My sister is a BP fanatic. That picture beside your message looks like Sam Champion, one of the weather men on tv here in New York. Hugs Bridget Canada Rules!
  21. In one of my old posts (well couple weeks old) under Product Updates (there is a few) I have a reply from Reece saying their peanutbutter cups are gluten-free...delphi list states the same thing. Hugs Bridget
  22. I tested negative on my biopsi even though before and since my blood tests keep comping back very stong positive. Hugs Bridget
  23. I'd reccoment England. Much more available for Gluten Free Products (at least Yorkshire) and the general population is much more educated on gluten-free. It is more open there, I guess because diagnoses is higher in Europe. Also a once in a life time place to see! Hugs Bridget
