  8. NatureChick - you said it so much better than I did! It's good to know I wasn't alone in the reaction. I was quite resentful, but decided I overreacted. I feel better and that is what is important. No one can absorb this much info that doesn't directly impact them!!
  9. I went to Whole Foods and found 4 different protein mixes that were gluten free, dairy free and soy free! I don't have the names, but the were either pumpkin based (not the best one!) or brown rice based. I liked the vanilla.

  11. This is good info to know. I asked my pharmacist last week. He looked them all up. Told me there were no ingredients that contained gluten. That they were mostly found in the capsules. Mine are all tablets. He really seemed to understand. But he also gave me manufactures numbers. I'm taking enough I guess I really need to call and find out - thanks

  15. Not the politically correct answer.... take it from her and say thanks so much for your effort.... then put it in the back of the frig/cabinet/pantry/garbage and never serve it! If she asks, oh, I'm sorry, it must have just got lost in all the gluten FREE food!! Of course I don't have the demeanor to get away with any kind of sarcasm in an innocent way...
  16. How do you know when to try it again? One of my main symptoms is nausea and stomach pain. But I am on prescription acid suppressors until damage heals. GI said maybe from now on I think change in diet fixed it, I was still nauseated taking the PPI... Do you just have one drink and wait and see? Try one a week? Pretty sure not the right place to ask... but I find it pretty funny... does anyone find it interesting/funny.... newly diagnosed that walking through the bakery, or smelling bread makes you feel itchy??
