  1. I had a equivacal blood test and a negative biopsy. But a GI Dr told me to try Gluten free, he said lots of false negatives happen. What are the main words I need to look for on an ingredients label? Monica
  2. My biopsy results came back negative with no evidence of celiac damage. I had a GI Dr, friend of my MOM'S, say go gluten free anyway. He said, if she thinks it's celiac, it quite possibly is. We are taking a trip December 31st through January 7th, I think when we return, I will go gluten free. If my symptoms disappear or get a lot better, then I guess...
  3. Esophagitis is what occurs when stomach acid is present in the esophagis. It tears it down and makes the esophagis vulnerable to cancer and other major issues. I pray your son finds something that will make him well! Monica
  4. Did your doctor think the numbers called for a biopsy?
  5. I am still on gluten! I plan to stay that way till the biopsy. But my husband and I decided that after the biopsy, we will go gluten free...no matter the results. We may wait till after the New Year, but we then plan to have myself and hubby and kids go gluten free at home! Thanks for the info!
  6. SO do my blood results indicate Celiac?
  7. I saw my GI Dr yesterday! At first he blew over my Celiac results, but then noticed the equivocal result. I am scheduled for a biopsy on 12/13! IS this really necessary? Is my bloodtest results borderline enough to justify one?
  8. I am no doctor and was unable to speak to mine this morning. But I am seeing my GI specialists today, so I wanted the results in my hand to take to him. Well best I can read there were 3 areas where results are indicated. (now that doesn't mean there aren't more, I just don't see it! ) TTG Antibody IGA <3 -- which is in range Gliadin Antibody...
  9. I just read the symptoms link, Feet issues. About 1 year ago, I thought I injured my left food. I have to be real particular on what shoes I wear now b/c the bottom of my left foot causes me problems! This could be celiac disease too?
  10. Thanks Jo Ann! How are you doing? Are you now Gluten Free?
  11. OK I have various symptoms and have been labeled IBS! I have extreme fatigue, I am constantly hungry, I have recently lost 5 pounds although eating more or normal. Some days my stomach causes me horrible doubled over pain. Others it rumbles and rolls and causes mild pain. Before I went on Zelnorm, I would have either be constipated or have diahrea. Now...
  12. My thyroid is fine. We had that tested earlier this year. I spoke with my family DR. She doesn't feel qualified to test/treat this. She has referred me to a Gastro Specialist. Only problem is his first appointment is November 28th! Hopefully he can test me immediately! Thanks for your help! As for anemia, I have no idea if I have that?!?
  13. Something else is, I am COLD all the time! I mean, COLD!?!?!
  14. Thanks! I had read you definitely need to be eating it at the time!
  15. I have done a little food testing of my own. I typically eat eggs for breakfast. Today I had 1/2 of a bagel with it. NOW my stomach is killing me!
  16. I am having problems finding this post???
  17. I had hiatal hurnia surgery and gall bladder removal in 2003. Since then I have had horrible gas/bloating, stools have become odd at best. I was diagnosed with IBS and have tried to eliminate diary and such that make IBS worse. I am also on Zelnorm. At the same time I have been tested for Thyroid issues because I have horribly fatigued all the time. ...
