  1. Well, had my second BioSET treatment today. Today was acids and protein metoblism. I had it wrong last week, they only treated the *level 1 components, enzymes* and some other stuff I don't recognize and sugars. I had to chuckle cuz I asked the girl if they retest to see if it *holds*, she said no, it clears. I'm thinking, um how do you know if it...
  2. Welcome Srokie!!
  3. I'm not sure if prilosec or prevacid actually kill the pylori, I think they're prescribed to heal the stomach/esophagus, at least that's what I was thinking in my brain fogged brain, lol. I took Prevacid along with amoxycilin and clarithromycin and Pepto for 14 days, then he switched me to prilosec and the probiotics both of which I'll have to take for ...
  4. They didn't mention Jeffries by name. They're having me take a lot of supplements including stuff like DHEA, pregnenolone, Progest (cycled), Support Adrenals, and some other stuff. The DHEA, pregnenolone & Progest are sublingual drops which are tapering off every so many weeks. I think I need to do some more reading over at STM, lol
  5. Yep, I feel like I might pass out sometimes too when I stand. My other doctor did a BP test, where she takes BP while sitting down, then standing up. Most people will have a rise in BP when they stand, but mine drops by about 10 points. That was the other way she figured I had adrenal fatigue. I wish going gluten free cured mine, lol.
  6. Yes, my adrenals were tested by saliva, with the 4 samples over 24 hours. I did the pupil test and according to that I had adrenal fatigue. Then I had the saliva testing. I'm a bit dubious of the thyroid testing though...have you ever heard of it being done by saliva?? That was the test I was given...It will test for all the Frees plus the antibodies...
  7. First off, Happy Birthday a little late! Hum, fats. Well, what I did this week was to purposely not add any additional fat to anything. I cooked everything in a non-stick pan or the microwave and I baked my game hens. Most of the meat I ate was definitely of the fatty variety (like ground beef...it's labeled lean, but it still has 15% fat...they have...
  8. Oh good. I know they USED to repeat it on Friday nights here, but they haven't been lately...I'm hoping that was just over the holiday season! I'll definitely look for it. I love my VCR/DVD player recorder in every way except that I have to hit a little button to actually have it record. The thing is all programmed and everything, but if I forget to hit...
  9. Thanks once again Georgie! I am going to have my thyroid tested (with ALL Frees and the antibodies, yay) in the next couple of weeks, so I'll know for sure about that part. In the mean time I'll look up the book you suggest.
  10. Yep, I really should have the walls checked for mold. Yep, I just finished the PrevPac/Pepto Bismol treatment for h.pylori...heinous, lol. I haven't heard of Mastic Gum, but I have heard the broccoli sprout thing before so I think I'll get some tomorrow if Whole Foods has them. Funny you mentioned not being able to lose weight afterwards...cuz I should...
  11. Sorry, haven't heard of it...I'll try to look it up in a bit though. I've heard of Whipple disease, but can't quite remember the details. I came across it a lot when I was looking up the Whipple Procedure which is what I thought I might have to have if they had to removed a growth on my pancreatic/bile duct opening. I'll let the...
  12. Dang....forgot to set my recorder!!!!
  13. I've suspected for a long time that my body doesn't process any type of sugar well, but I've just ignored it for the last year or so. (I know, duh Donna, lol) Fructose came up on the BioSET testing as a problem...all the sugars did no matter what form they were in. What surprised me the most about my testing was the fats...I eat so much fat because...
  14. Still don't know who put it here, lol. My co-worker comes in at 1:00 so maybe she can shed some light. One of the attorneys who works late said it wasn't here last night though...
  15. Sounds like a snow day to me, lol! Wish I could use your snow day and stay home too.
  16. I haven't found a good way to raise my blood pressure yet, lol. I eat a TON of salt, but that doesn't seem to raise it. On my last doctor visit it was 86/63, and that was in the office setting where it is usually a bit higher. I've always had low blood pressure, but it was always around 112/whatever is the lower end of normal. So it's really taken a dive...
  17. Oh Claire! How exciting about dairy. I don't miss dairy a whole bunch (other than milk, cheese and butter, lol), but I would LOVE some yogurt for breakfast in the morning! All the corns were a problem for me, even the syrup, but the BioSET lady thinks it's mainly a mold issue since my testing went crazy with the molds/candida.
  18. OH, and Hi Laura, I'm so sorry you're feeling bad again! I was so hoping you were past that!
  19. Oh, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to do masses of research and then post it here. I feel badly sometimes not contributing in that way, so I just wanted to make sure that EVERYONE knows how much I appreciate it.
  20. Okay, I came into work today and there was a huge gorilla sitting at my workstation typing away, lol. Yes a gorilla. Fortunately it is stuffed. Not sure who put it there, and whether or not it was a personal statement for me but I've now moved him so that he is perched at our pass through window...he can stare at the rest of the office for...
  21. Mia! It sounds like maybe you are tolerating teh shots well! That's great!
  22. It's short for Herxeimer(sp??)...it's basically experiencing symptoms of "die-off". For example, killing off some bad bacteria would cause them to emit toxins, which in turn would make you feel worse for a short time. Some die off symptoms that I've had is a general achiness in joints and muscles, sore eye sockets, headaches, feeling of nausea, diarrhea...
  23. Yes, but I had a leak inside the walls of my bathroom for years which the homeowner's association couldn't seem to find and fix...they finally did, but I'm sure there must be mold in there. I probably should have had the association check for it when all this happened, but it's been too long ago now.
  24. See, me too. NO matter how thin I've gotten, and at my thinnest I was doing hour long intense cardio sessions and lots of weight lifting, I always had some cellulite! I have this fat layer that just won't go away...now this all has me thinking, lol.
