  1. Patti - thanks for the tip about the banana...I do sometimes add one to the sorbet. Rachel - that's fantastic about the diet. Do you still want to live in Rachelville?
  2. Well I don't know what agar-agar is, lol, but the second recipe sounds doable.
  3. Doesn't sound like a long shot to me...sounds right on. The more you post about this the more I think it applies to me.
  4. Vincent or Rachel - either of you have any idea if an icecream maker would work with soy milk? I can't have dairy, but would like some ice cream every once in a while and would really like to control the other ingredients that go in. If not, I can live with my sorbet.
  5. I've had three endoscopes since April and didn't feel anything on any of them except for a slight sore throat afterwards...I mean slight too. I can't remember a single thing about any of the three procedures except being wheeled into the room and then waking up in the recovery area. The worst part of the whole thing for me was the needle prick for the IV...
  6. Susan - I love reading your journal entries! My family is a bit different too...we are not really close. My mom has two brothers that live nearby and she's only seen the one 4 times in the last 40 years or so and the other we only see about 1 time a year. The only family member I see regularly is my mother and aunt. Like you I have friends that are...
  7. God is so very good!
  8. Sadly, I think it sounds good.
  9. I think I had enough protein. At the end of the day my protein was around 20% I think. I do know that my body does seem to need a lot of protein. By the time I left work I had had 4 glasses of water, plus one at home before I left for work. I drank at least two more (probably a bit more) glasses at home in the afternoon. It feels so much like a blood...
  10. I just registered, so I'm set.
  11. Ryan - sorry to hear about the big fight! Miamia - glad to hear you are doing well, especially after your trip! Penguin - you can start your own cooking school for celiac chefs. Susan - how are you today? Hi everyone else...I know I'm missing a bunch of people and I'm sorry! If the alien baby is being passed around I think I got...
  12. That's my girl, lol! I mean, uh, okay, that's really what I mean. I woke up this morning with a bunch of ants all over my stove! I 409'd them.
  13. Gosh, how awful...I'm so sorry you are going through all this!
  14. I like all those shows too. I talked to my sister about three weeks ago...she was okay at that time...hum, maybe I should call her again. Didn't hear about rock slides, or at least didn't pay attention...
  15. Yes, I've been doing this too since my hairdresser told me...works very well. Usually only do it when I'm not going out for the day though, lol.
  16. Thanks Vincent! Oh, and I forgot to post in my reply above that I want to help Sally in her bum duties!
  17. Adding my prayers this morning!
  18. Thank you for wanting to be informed!
  19. Will be keeping you and your family in prayer as well! I live in Campbell and my sister lives near Mariposa...about 30 miles away from Yosemite. I don't get up there much...did I mention I was lazy.
  20. You can count on me! I AM in charge of security after all--I think that could fall somewhere under my authority. Yes, and I can help relocate any that choose to attack hair, lol. My sister lives up near Yosemite out in the country...one of the times I stayed with her, she said "do you want to help me get rid of a bat?" I'm thinking...
  21. I agree Charlie, it's so hard to know what exactly is causing it all. I tend to have delayed reactions so it's hard for me to tell too. It's really hard to keep a detailed enough journal sometimes, and I have kept a daily health journal for the past 4 years, but I still find it hard to be detailed enough. I thought all my supplements were pretty good quality...
  22. I get a different brand, it seems, every time it's time for new ones. I agree with the advice above about trying them on. I walk around the store for a while with them on. If you're going to use them on a hard surface try to test them on a harder surface. I do mine at home, so the carpeted store is fine.
  23. I'm pretty sure I could single-handedly get rid of all the pesky insects....I mean help them relocate to a better farm.
  24. Yes Ryan, I support a spider-free cult farm. Okay, so that's auxigro histamine inflammation gluten dairy spider free cult farm. (although dairy contraband will be tolerated for Rachel and others who can tolerate it, lol) Julie - thanks...I will go back (OH NO) and search page 194.
  25. Wow, okay, I think I can get through this without rereading, lol: Stuporman - LOVE THAT NAME!! I didn't really have any specific symtoms that could be attributed to the vitamin thing, but in general wasn't healing well. I started by doing the SCD diet, then cut out corn, and cut down on MSG and at the same time quit all supplements. I think just staying...
