    I don't know about petechia (why oh why can't I remember how to spell that stupid word, lol), but I've read somewhere in my ancient research that they generally don't remove them, at least not surgically because they actually are like little blood blisters...I think they'd bleed to much. I don't remember ever reading anything about any other way of getting...

    Yeah, I've got lots and lots of both kinds...raised and not raised. Fortunately for me the unraised ones are really really small so barely show up. The raised ones are mostly on my chest/abdomen and a couple on my legs.

    I don't think the raised ones are petachae...I've got both. One doctor said the raised ones where cherry angiosomething....nothing serious. Now, she was a regular duck and I fired her eventually, so while I believe they are nothing serious, I do think they have a cause...just don't know what they are. I also have petachae (sp??)...those are not raised...

    I've just been sidelined by my surgery, but I'll be cultlike again very soon. I'm housebound at the moment with nothing to do except watch the birds fighting over what is left of birdseed in my neighbor's hanging bird feeder. Perhaps a trip over to EM would be a good thing right about now, lol.
