Lord, we drove through the Continental Ice Fields, and could have taken a huge hummer-type bus thingie up to the top glacier in the area and walk along the crevasses that jut hundreds of metres down, that will swallow you up should you slide into one.     Well.. . . ..I am deeply awed and humbled by the breathtaking splendour around me (no, DH did not buy a speedo). Banphffphphphh is incredible. The Rocky Mountains are all around us......everywhere one looks, there are huge, towering, craggy mountain cliffs. I wanna paint all this.     Dear gawd... .. . ......glutening over the last few days via DH, and THEN a blocked toilet via one who is not 'fessing up. It is a good thing, methinks, that we are outta here today, and off to Banff. Fresh mountain air, stronger capacity toilets.....and we each get our own bed. Jyaghnutt's checkin' in, too!

    Hey, gang! We're in Edmonton, lying around as the jetlag and exhausting plane ride settles into our bones. We are staying at an old friend's house.....very lovely. He's gone to work and is letting us get settled in. He is an amazing buddy - - giving us the run of his place, then INSISTING on lending us his van to drive three hours south to Calgary...

    Rayechull! Youse is comin' up north? Damn, Brampton is pretty far from here, but only about a half-hour drive from downtown Toronto. There is LOTS to do and see in T.O. - - it is a phab city! You should definitely accompany Scott. You could meet POeter at the terrific restaurant that serves delicious gluten-free pizza. I WANNA COME!!
