  1. Sort of a guess, but I'm thinking that if you avoiding it right now and it gives you a mild reaction, if you were to add it into your diet again completely you'd probably have a worse reaction. Since it's not a true allergy and just a sensitivity, you will probably be able to add it in eventually after letting your gut heal. I ate dairy all my life and now...
  2. I'm sorry this is so discouraging for you. I know how frustrating it is when you're trying so hard to stick to a healthy diet and you still hit setbacks. Have you ever heard of Cyrex labs? They do a lot of different tests for food sensitivities and gut permeability and I'd really highly recommend getting some tests done. I was in the same boat as your husband...

I would recommend getting...

To make your own, just take a carcass from a chicken you made (or you can use bones leftover from chicken legs, sometimes that's easier), stick it in a crock pot...

I had a lot of trouble digesting fat after the morning sickness and stomach virus went away (I think I had thrown up all my bile...gross, I know) but now I think my stomach has been able to catch up and actually process the food...
  6. I'm 18 weeks pregnant (19 weeks tomorrow). I've been on a gluten-free diet for nearly 2 years, and last year I found out I was also sensitive to dairy, corn, and several grains (tapioca, teff, millet). I also have Hashimoto's but I'm on medication and my antibodies have gone way down since going off of the foods I'm sensitive to. I'm 5'1" and right now I...
