  1. Mild elevation can be caused by other autoimmune diseases. Like Crohns.
  2. I would add that I am now over a year into my gluten-free diet and my daily diahrea and stomach pain are gone.
  3. With those blood results and if a gluten-free diet helps you very likely have Celiac. My biopsy was also negative, but had strong positive numbers on all of the celiac disease blood tests. I also had a high risk positive genetic profile. Follow up testing revealed vitamin deficiencies and osteoporosis. If you are still concerned you may not have a diagnosis...
  4. There is a grieving period, especially around the social impact and this is completely normal. To get your family to understand, the best thing you can do is point them at some reputable online sources for information. As you implement your gluten-free diet you will make mistakes and get sick.   5. Your biopsy results appear to be consistent with Crohn's. Did you have any tests specific for that?
  6. Please ask for a genetic test and if positive move on to a trial gluten-free diet and retest antibodies in 3-4 months. I had a high positive test and my biopsy was negative. My doctor followed through with the genetic testing and then trial diet. My antibodies went to normal and I received an official diagnosis. Since then I had found out I have osteoporosis...
  7. It's not unusual for EMA to be negative. It's only positive when there is extensive damage and is somewhat subjective as it is read by eye. Your panels are positive, they would typically now schedule you for an EGD.
  8. Thank you. PPI's didn't help me either. I am eliminating the chips, kinda bummed about that. They are certified gluten-free, but the citrus just doesn't agree with me. I've had to eliminate nightshades, coffee, and citrus to stop the gastritis symptoms.
  9. I was having severe heartburn which progressed to nausea etc. I eliminated coffee and citrus based drinks which resolved the problem. Recently I started eating Kettle brand Salt & Vinegar chips.
