  1. Hi everyone. I was just dx in dec, and have been gluten-free for about 3 weeks. I am wondering if all my little symptoms are 'normal' withdrawls.   2. i know that certain products from bath and body works contain wheat or oats, but i was wondering if anyone uses any lotions or anything from them that do not contain gluten. OR do you not risk the cc issue? thanks happy new years everyone =)

  7. im 26 and was just dx with celiac disease this month, never really thought that i would have issues with having a baby till i was dx. now i am concerned that i will have complications trying to get pregnant, i dont plan on having a baby probably for another 2-3 years, but it has concerned me more now that i have been dx. aany advice or stories?? thanks

  10. LOL omg im just laughing cause i was at the supermarket with my bf just 2 days ago and saw those lil debbie xmas cakes, and i was making a sad face cause i cant eat them anymore...lol Like you said probably for the best, cause they were so fattening anyways. We are better off!

  12. since i was a kid, i love candy canes, this is my first xmas dx with celiac disease so im not quite sure what is ok. Are candy canes on a safe list? or are they on the watch list?
  13. im starting to guess that mine is all gluten related too. i just was dx this week, and have been doing my best to be gluten-free. i have to say the pain has subsided considerably. so hopefully its related to my celiac disease and it will just go away....cause i had my ob/gyn check me out and everything in that area was ok, she said that a lot of digestive...
  14. my GI told me that a follow up endoscopy really wasnt neccessary as long as i follow the diet and saw improvements, such as weight gain, then he said he didnt really have the need to do it again. But blood tests may be an alternative route. Best advice he said is that everyones body is different and you cant put a time on when u will "feel better" As long...

I just got Dx this week.....Im being very careful with my food, its not too hard cause my mom was Dx 2 years ago....But i have noticed a huge difference in the pain...i will notice the next time if i get it what i ate before that.... Do you get it on just your right side, or both...
  17. ii would double check the john frieda brunette, i called them and they couldnt gaurentee gluten free products, which stinks cause used that too. Pantene is ok for me, but i cant use it too often. I like some neutrogena shampoos. Oh and a good lotion, if you have ever been to the Body Shop their body butter is gluten-free, they have a nice selection and...

  22. For about a year now (pre-dx) i have been having this pain, more like a pressure right above my hip bone on my lower right side. Sometimes it feels like its a burning sensation. More of an annoying thing then pain, but still worries me. Just curious if this happens to other people....
  23. Im 26 and had my gall bladder removed 5 years ago...not for gall stones though, i had a polyp which cause my gall bladder to be infected. But after that i was never able to eat "normal" again without having cramps here and there from certain foods, and now just this year they are diagnosing me with celiac disease....
  24. So i contacted dominos pizza and they said that the buffalo wings and blue cheese are gluten-free!? But i was reading the ingredients and it has distilled vinegar in the blue cheese....isnt that non gluten-free?
