yah i dont care very much for the 'meat' stuff, i like more of the rice & veggie stuff, would i have to worry about stuff like the wrappers? and the seaweed salads?

Thanks, looks like it might be happening, i think they are going to do a test to see how it does, so if you live around Rt 9 in chestnut hill/Newton.... so this is going to be one of my first time venturing out gluten-free for dinner....we are going to be going to a sushi place....any suggestions on safe items....fyi i dont eat anything raw...lol i like more of the california rolls, with cream cheese...are those wrappers safe? i know about the soy sauce issue, dont like it very much anyways... any other...

I hope some of you live in and around the boston area...im single handedly trying to get the gluten-free ramapo beer into a supermarket...i contacted the distributor, and gave the contact name for the supermarket owner (which happens to be my bf, so that helps ) They are getting together to soon to see what they can work out, so if it happens i will give... -

Hez is right, the Ice in the US has malt, the one in Canada doesnt- go figure. Im soo excited that the flavored ones are gluten-free, the rasberry flavor with sprite is great! -

Karen- The Ice ones are different than the flavored vodkas....if you go to their website you will see that the Ice ones are ones that look like beer bottles. Thanks for checking up though =) -

none of the major chains have them i called, martys, martnettis, blanchards...i called the distributor and left her a message so hopefully she will call me to let me know who is Mass carries them. -

I spoke with the company today and she confirmed that all the shampoos and conditioners were gluten-free. most of the hair styling products are too, but not all...she said that those would have to be called on. I thought I also read somewhere that pantene was not safe anymore...can anyone confirm that? -

I used to go there all the time before my DX, im planning on still going now, i just havent gone yet. I LOVE there food, make sure u make reservations there, they almost always have at least a 1-2 hour wait. Have fun! -

dont worry about it, ive had a root canal and i have to agree its much worse than the upper endo. I was very nervous about it too, talking to the nurses helps u relax. My GI was great so everything was quick, for me the worst part was that throat numbing stuff too, just smells funky!! and u might a little freaked out cause u cant feel ur throat, but dont... -

105 pre dx....Im 5'3 and 2 months gluten-free, I lost about 3 pounds since, and im about 102 right now...i would love to be able to get back up to 110-115. I used to be 125 when i was about 21, now Im 26. -

speaking of probiotics, im not sure if i should take some..., my dr prescribed me keflex, an antibiotic, (for my throat) im kind of hesitant to take it cause im only 2 months into my diet and im having some issues with pain around my belly and stomach area....and i dont want it to get worse...any suggestions?
