  1. How often does that really happen to the soda guns? If thats the case, CC issues would be so bad that people wouldnt drink at bars. And for the juices, thats almost harder when ur at a bar, trying to see which brand of juice they are using to make sure its safe?!? Then yelling over everybody else to ask about it...i can just see it now....What is SAFE to...

  3. I used to use that too, until they said the same thing to me. I wont use it anymore. I just replaced it with Fructis, i like it a lot more, and its half the price.
  4. Thanks for the advise... Its not that I am pressured at all to drink by anyone, for me its just a social thing. I like it, like everyone liked going out to have that slice of pizza, and its just hard to see everyone eating/drinking.... I was never a big beer drinker anyways, i like my hard liquor and mixed drinks. DO you still drink cosmos? I thought...
  5. The only reason I asked is because there were a few people that had said its a good idea to wait while ur intestines are healing cause the alcohol can cause a lot of irritation etc... But its good to hear some of you were ok and didnt have to wait....I guess I can try one drink at a time.
  6. Not that I drink daily by any means, but since my dx in Dec 05, i have been to several parties and its so depressing and annoying, on some peoples end, not to be able to drink. Sorry im about to vent, but i was always the fun party girl and now im the depressed girl sitting and moping. and its worse when every 5 mins someone comes and asks you why...
  7. Anyone know off the top of their head if those little Jello pudding cups they sell already made in the convience packs are gluten-free? Thanks
  8. If you really thing about it though Whole Foods is charging for what they are providing. I dont know of another big food chain store that cares enough to take people on a Gluten-Free tour of their store. My first time going gluten-free shopping I went to whole Foods, and a nice lady came up to me and asked me what I was looking for (because i looked lost...

  15. Thanks, But can I just tell you how hard it is to find caplets these days....I have gone to 4 -5 different places. CVS actually told me they dont carry them anymore because the geltabs sell much better. Even their vendor discontinued them....ANyone else have a problem getting caplets, the sinus and cold ones!

  19. Does anyone have a new list of the tylenol brand gluten-free list? Thanks
  20. Your best bet is to call them to verify the products....I believe their number is on the website. I had a list of products I use, and I just went through the list with them and they could tell me if it was gluten-free or not. They were very helpful.
  21. Im sure your feelings are not much different from a lot of people here. Being only 26 and just getting DX 4 months ago was a real stuggle. I had anxiety problems starting about 2 years ago, and just when i thought things were getting good. BAM here is celiac disease. Like u said the first 3-4 weeks i felt great, but a month or 2 after it was all setting in...
  22. My report said 0-19 is normal, but im no where near that.....But Im going to get it checked in May (6month mark) Hopefully I see improvement....Rachel do u know what ur # was before ur DX?

  24. I would becareful of some of the things that they are listing, i went to the manufactures list, and there are some things I found that were a little off, for example, the guiltless gourmet line has been confirmed gluten-free and they have the tortilla chips listed not safe....? And the duncan hines homestyle frosting which i believe is not gluten-free now...
