So im going away from home for the first time since dx (about 7months) and im scared of getting glutened. Im not really scared of the food part cause we have talked back and forth with the hotel, but im scared if i do get glutened that i will be stuck in the hotel, and be miserable. its only a weekend thing, so it would ruin the whole weekend....any suggestions... -

I had that lower right side pain for about a year off and on before i was DX, the day i went gluten-free it went away and havent had it since, my GI thinks it was related to me Celiac, he said it could have been a number of things, but since i had a positive repsonse to my diet it was most likely some sort of imflamation/irritation, which btw also caused... -

I thought the episode was great, but I was confused on a few things....when the doc said that the babies potas. levels kept spiking cause medicine was not being absorbed....i thought when they gave meds (with gluten) through IV into the blood it wouldnt bother a person with celiac...(llike i said this is just what i read before, so it may not be true) THats... -

I can always eat steak, and my bf loves it too. I was leaning more towards Capital Grill, the money is no big deal, cause hes paying anyways, and they way i look at it, i havent gone out to eat in 7 months, i deserve an expensive place...lol -

Im kinda torn...i bring my own conditioner into the salon, but im not quite sure if just the color would be ok....i get that it would get washed away but im still not sure.... does anyone use color without worrying whats in it? -

Thanks Another forum, they are telling me that it is ok to use the color with wheat, because there is almost no chance you'll ingest it. And it will eventually wash off cause its just the protein that makes it stick... im confused?! -

So i need to get my hair toned down a little to a brown, however my salon uses Goldwell products which contain a wheat protien, of course! ANy suggestions as to what I can do? I WONT do it myself, cause i dont trust myself.... If i have to buy my own product and bring it into her what hair color products are safe? Thanks. -
I was looking at taking a cruise, either to europe or the caribbean....i saw that they have a medical form, which u can let them know in advance that you need gluten free meals...which is awesome! But i was wondering if anyone else has been...and how its been?

I take Nature Made Vitamins, they say right on the bottle that they are gluten-free, even if you go to the website it will tell you there as well. I buy mine at CVS, ive also seen it at Walgreens, and they always have sales on them.

Right around the time I started to get symptoms of celiac disease, I started to feel pain in my jaw. About a year later my dentist Dx me with tmj. I have a great mouth piece he made me i wear at night, its one of those thin flexy ones...and yes i too have been on the floor in the morning searching for it...lol If effects so many places on ur face and neck...

I was Dx with celiac disease 5 months ago, never had a skin related problem. However i got this strange little blister/bump right between my middle and ring finger. U can barely see the bump because its so tiny, but it is pretty red, and when i itch it - its gets pretty itchy!!! Im not sure if this is DH related or not. I dont have anything else anywhere...

i just found this on the Clan Thompson site, QUESTION: I read on the celiac forum that Kingsford Charcole used Wheat as a filler. I e-mailed Kingsford this week and they said that even though they could not give me the ingredients in their product, it was gluten free. I have missed hamburgers and steak cooked over charcole. Yes, when I was at my last support group meeting at Healthy Villi, they did mention that BBQs could be risky due to gluten in the charcols. I only use gas grills... -

Thanks C- I acutally found the # and called them 1-800-892-2401 They said that the tator tots used to have Gluten, then they changed the ingredients so now they dont have any gluten. They just havent updated the website. But they do have list they can mail you if you like thats more recent. Just give them a call =)
