I get a pinching pain come and go around my belly button area and up between my rib cage area....did anyone get this after they went gluten-free? my GI thinks it hurts cause of inflamtion/irritation...but i didnt have it before...started after i went gluten-free (we ruled out ulcers and reflux with CT scans and GI xrays)

OMG that sounds awful...well the lastest thing with me is the GI that dx with celiac disease, i went to him and he thinks b/c of all the inflamtion i had due to the damage and the irritation, that i could be having spasms. He said usually belly button pain is connecting with ur small intestines....and the stomach pain (which comes and goes, kind of a gnawing...
  3. this is something that i thought about too, my mother buys blocks of cheese (like feta) from our bakery in our town. They have a huge block which they cut from...would u consider just plain cheese like that gluten-free? or would u buy it in the store with a label on it stating all the ingredients?

I use gluten-free shampoos from giovanni, pantene, neutro....But im not too impressed with their hair styling stuff...anyone have any good suggestions, something that i can get from CVS... also i was reading the deoderant issue, i use secret, i think the powder scent...so is that not safe to do scented? i have to switch again?!

  7. too bad we cant get it on the News as easily....i used to work for a FoxTv station, and once a new anchor bad mouthed McD's...something to do with the supersize movie....and we had people from McD corp calling us threatening to pull all the ads off the station...and we know they drop $$$ on ads... so i agree with the money can buy u anything
  8. i just sent them an email stating how dissappointing it is that such a huge corporate company like them would do something like this....i hope everyone does the same and they get overwhelmed by emails....

  10. Well they ruled out the ulcer, nothing in any of my test suggests that i have one...My doc suggested that i stay on prilosec....i personally dont want to, im going to see my GI today too see what he thinks....but all my blood work and tests were ok...so im not sure....??

  12. JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THEM..... THIS INGREDIENT WAS ALWAYS IN THE FRENCH FRIES BUT THEY NEVER DISCLOSED IT....NOW THEY HAVE TO DUE TO THE NEW LAWS... THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE GUY FROM MCDONALDS SAID....BECAUSE THEY ARE PARFRIED THE WHEAT AND DAIRY PROTEINS ARE DESTROYED!!!!!! SO NOTHING IN THE FRIES CHANGED, THIS INGREDIENT HAS BEEN THERE THE WHOLE...

I stated to feel great about a month into my gluten-free diet, but 2 weeks ago i started getting there awful pains right between my ribcage down to my belly button, the pain will sometimes radiate to the sides of my ribs....I went to see my Dr and even touching that area between my ribs made it hurt. The pain comes and goes now, but still hanging around....

  19. Well Ive been gluten-free for almost 2 months, still pretty new...i took a chance and had McD's fries last weekend, ever since the day after I ate them, i feel like ive been hit by a truck. I dont really know what it feels like to get glutened since this might be the first time, but I think it is from whats been going on. Im just plain tired, want to crawl...

  21. My mother and I both have it! Sister tested negative for it... However I think a few of my aunts on my mothers side have it as well.....

  24. Since i have only be dx for a month or so now, im not sure what to do about these....I have a hair appt next month and i need to get my nails done too. Any advice on what you ladies do about this?? Im thinking i have to take my own shampoo, since the salon ive been going to since i was 18 is an Aveda based salon. And how about nails? I never know what...
  25. Carrie becareful with the vaseline lotions, i bought one, i think the one for dry skin, and turned out to have oats in it..... needless to say cvs here is great, they took it right back when i told them i had an intolerance to the ingredient!!
