  1. not all doctors are bad, but I do agree that nowadays most are in it for the money, they need a nicer car, bigger home, wife needs more expensive outfits, belong to the "right" club, keep up with the jone's etc..that means fitting in more patients in a shorter amount of time..you have to talk fast when they only give you a 15 minute appt. and the doctors...

  3. hi guys, I'm going to make a soup with perdue ground chicken..it says all natural but has "potassium lactate" in it..is that ok? is that lactose also..my mom got me these great frozen spices at trader joes, they come in little cubes, that you just pop out..very cool..it says all natural, but the garlic and parsley cubes have "dextrose" is that ok? thank...
  4. I've cried over food I can't eat too. tonight I made my hubby and son fried pasta with my homemade sause, meatballs, sausage..with fresh italian bread. I has bologna sandwich on a gluten-free roll with mustard at least it was something to eat besides chicken!
  5. I'd love to sue my gastro too..one year of hell because he said celiac disease does not cause pain in the stomach!!

  12. I've been anemic most of my life, nothing I take,eat helps..every Dr tells me its my mediterranean blood

I was 98% gluten-free before my blood test, My Dr said "lets do it anyway, because there are so many ppl that get negative results even eating gluten" my results came back boaderline positive..he said if I was eating gluten everyday it would have been a higher positive result. I was told it stays in our system for 6 months, but I don't know if thats correct...

  15. I did go ahead and pick up the 365 rice milk, I was surprised how good it is. I did try in in my kava [coffee for gerd] coffee, it was so-so. I'm seeing my Dr on Friday, hoping I can convince him to test me for soy,milk, eggs and corn. I ate a banana this afternoon and now my belly aches..enough already!     I'm happy to hear you had good luck with him, he was good about calling me at home, but would always say in his calm,soft voice "i'm sorry you're in terrible pain, call my office back and make another appt." I would go back again, tell him EVERYTHING I ate hurt, I was on the floor for 8 hours after I ate a bagel and cream cheese from dunkins, again "i'm sorry...

  20. can I get tested for casein and lactose by a blood test from my Dr? I think its become a problem with me and I'm tired of the guessing game
