  2. ya, thats whats going on with me..I'm eating chicken so much I think I'm going to wake up and find I have wings and feathers lol I now seem to be having trouble with soy, had it this week and it felt like I was glutened, I wish there was an easy way to figure out the intolerances, its a guessing game
  3. thanks bunches kim I'll take a look for the cookbook..we have a used bookstore in town. I'm sorry to say I'm banned from the library I took 3 books out 12 years ago and never brought them back, now I can't find them

  5. when I used to order chinese food they used MSG in everything, I always felt drugged after I ate then would crash a few hours later

  7. kim, I have the bobs all purpose, It made me sick, I think its the bean flour he uses.
  8. hi guys, I've been doing pretty good adapting recipes to gluten-free, made a great seafood pasta with white sause today but I'm lost when it comes to flour..If a recipe calls for a cup of flour or I need to bread chicken what type of flour would I use? rice?? I've been using cornstarch when its only a TBLS or for thicking a sause. thanks

  11. I was like that this afternoon, made the aunt tootsies brownies, dairy and soy free...sooooo good!!
  12. my feet, arms and hands do that, but I have FM and 3 herniated disks in my neck
  13. I'm listening and I care I feel bad after eating too but I get pain, rummbling and gas..will we ever feel good again??
  14. kim, what is BTDT? I can't do dairy either, thats why I bought the toffuti ice cream bars, they were so good, but not worth this pain, gas, bloating I just want to have a day without stomach pain!!
  15. I like bentyl better too, do you take it everyday or as needed? i take it as needed..keep hoping I can stop it completely, but still having daily stomach pain even after 2 months, somedays are better than others though

  17. marianne, thanks for the reply. the weird thing is when I use the soy sauce for my chicken recipe the side effects is not as bad. I'm still paying for that tofutti ice cream and its been 6 hours! every time I had a gluten-free bagel with tofutti cream cheese I thought is was the bagel bothering me..it must be the cream cheese.
  18. thanks Patti..I wish there were tests for intolerance's.. it would make things so much easier and a lot less painful. both soy and soy milk are a form of soy [ I assume] so both would be a problem
  19. hi guys, I'm still in the process of trying to figure out all my intolerance's, I had soy sauce [gluten-free] wed night and my stomach was not great yesterday, then I had a tofutti marry me ice cream bar after lunch today [soy] my stomach is bloated like I'm 6 months pregnant, terrible gas and severe cramping..could this be a result of the soy? do you have...
  20. Dessa, would you please share with me what you're taking. I use citracal but it seems to make me more bloated and rumbling thanks
  21. I never get D my GI told me I couldn't have celiac because I don't get Diarrhea..I'm always bound up the next day [after he said this] my blood work came back borderline positive!!
  22. I eat the choc. cook and serve weekly, I make it with rice milk

  24. I always used Bakers cocoa, but was told its a no-no..someone told me to buy nestle,but I've never seen it here in Mass..any ideas? thanks
  25. yes its gluten-free I make a gluten-free homemade teriyaki sause with Organic Wheat Free Tamari Soy Sauce. then I make an awesome fried rice with it..we had it again tonight, its one of my hubby and sons fav gluten-free meals I make. you can PM me if you want the recipe..I just may not get back to you tonight..I think I may be getting the flu
