  3. yes, Mireille is a great lady..shes been very helpful I seem to run across so many celiac disease sites that want money..today I wanted to get a monthly newsletter, but it was 40 dollars a year..now thats not a lot, but I'm on a tight budget with my hubby being disabled and the new diet is costing me a ton of money this newsletter looked to have...

  7. hi judy, next I'll try the plain english muffins..before going gluten-free I always ate cheeseburgers on english muffins with butter..too die for!! just starting to snow here in Ma, getting at least a foot..I'll be snowed in too, enjoy your breakfast
  8. I had half of one today with egg beaters..you'd swear you were eating rye bread! gave my son a bite, he said " thats great..but mom you can't eat that you'll get sick" he thought it was regular rye bread
  9. the one time I had the organic hamburger from whole foods I was pretty much ok..fish and chicken seem to be ok with me too..it must be all the crap they inject into the meats. for years, before celiac disease if I ate turkey at thanksgiving I was sick to my stomach even throwing up..a few years ago I ordered a fresh, all natural turkey, I've never had...
  10. thanks nini..I know its been checked, but I just keep thinking its the gall bladder..guess because the pains on the right...thats what stress does, logic can go out the window
  11. great imput everyone thanks laura, have you ever tried "regular" meat since you had your gall bladder removed? I just keep wondering if thats part of my problem, I did have a CT scan and ultra sound, was told its ok, but then I have days like today when I have burning type pain on my right side and groin..can't figure out why, somedays its real bad...

I too get pain..somedays like today my elbow burns julie, the spots you mention are also fibro spots..funny how many ppl with celiac have fibro..I'm one myself, was diagnosed 4 years ago..makes you wonder if it really is..like IBS, fibromyalgia is another "disease" doctors diagnose when they can't find anything else wrong. I'm hoping as I heal my body...
  14. nini, your right, the hamburger I bought did taste cleaner..I thought it was just me..my hubby said he didn't notice. the stomach pain from the regular meat was sooo bad I thought I would die, someone said it may be my gallbladder, but I had a CT scan and was told its fine...thanks for the reply, sorry your having trouble with meat too, but you've helped...
  15. hi guys, just wanted to get your feelings on this...the last couple times I had meat, a hamburger and then a pork chop I was on the floor in terrible pain for hours. mentioned this to my allergist yesterday he said it could also be an intolerance to all the stuff the inject in meat...he sent me for the RAST tests but said he can't test for that because there...

The skni prick tests came back negitive [i thought so] though out of the 60 there were about 10 that did raise up, though they said not enough..I then went for a RAST blood test. he did say he believes me to be very intolerant to dairy as well as many other things and the only way to deal with that is to just try and avoid the foods that bother me. the...

  24. thanks everyone, the cgeese I've been buying is rice slices, I also bought the mozerrella, not bad..the brand is galaxy. I'm also finding the lactose pills only work 50/50 the last week has been awful..this morning [while having wicked stomach pain] I told hubby "thats it I'm ordering my favorite sub, and eating gluten again" I just think I shouldn't be...
