  2. yeah, I grew tired of Glutino Bread and their dry cookies. We have tons of that stuff which is cool but there are better products coming out and no one seems to give a rats rear. Thanks for the info, I'll dig into the internet option more. N
  3. I too deep frie the frozen ones. The shoestring in paticular turn out just like McDonalds fries and takes 10 minutes. Horribly bad for you, lol N

  5. yeah, I'm just venting, internet orders take awhile, up to a month sometimes, this really had more to do with frustration/coping with then Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications, but it got moved N

  7. Yeah Strongbow is excellent stuff. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be gluten-free. I'm extremely sensitive to stuff and my stomache can't tolerate a lot of things but I can drink that stuff with no problems. It taste like apple juice, bit bitter/dry, not too sweet, carbonated, brewed. Great stuff! I have a lot of friends that drink it as an alternative...

  9. Interestingly, I recently found out that it was fructose that was causing my indigestion problems (someone has recently posted a link to fructose malabsorbtion). I can tolerate some of it but I have to eat a lot of starchy foods. My stomache will start gurgling really bad then the next day I'll wake up and feel/look like crap. Huge dark circles under...
  10. Thanks! my gluten-free set a tomatoe right on top of a bunch of bread crumbs not thinking and the other day I was at a bbg and my buns were moved around with the same tongs as the other ones! I simply can't stop these instances without crawling into a box and never coming out. Hopefully this happens soon, N

  12. I eliminated everything I thought might be a problem except the juice and was still having trouble. Since I stopped drinking the juice I've felt better. This is the 4th time I've tried to introduce something other than plain apple or orange juice where it has caused a problem. It's been with other brands like McKain, Gatorade, Tropicanna, and now minute maid...

  15. are there any that actually contain gluten? there are these premade salads you can buy at the grocery store near where I live and they have feta cheese and black olives. I've never seen black olives that contain gluten. Is it a possibility? are they cured in malt perhaps? I'm gonna ask anyway I think, but that isn't to say they use different brands depending...

I do eat other products that are made on the same line, like french fries (McCains), chips (Kettle), corn chips (Frito), etc... however not very often. Once a week if that.   19. my girlfriend made me some soup on the weekend and it had McCormick's All Vegetable beef stock. The ingredients had hydrolyzed soy protein in it, isn't this a no-no? I'm a little concerned with this. I've read quite a few posts stating that they will state gluten on the package. Anyone? Thanks Nate
  20. I've reached the end of the rope in trying to find what has made me sick, like really sick, for the past month. The only thing I can possibly think of that I added to my diet (in excess) is minute maid fruit juices. I get things that make me sick here and there but I have to be ingesting something on nearly a daily basis to swing me back into my old symptoms...
  21. Took me a long time to figure out but I eat chips with caution cause they have caused me problems sometimes and sometimes not. They aren't a trusted source so beware!!! N

  23. I thought most of Diana's sauces were not. I smeared it all of my steak and while I was chompin down I saw it contained Malt. This was Diana's original. In Canada too. Kissed an 8 dollar steak goodbye lol. I use Bulls Eye. Gonna have to check A1! wow, I love that stuff, I thought it contained Malt. N
  24. I'm glad someone said it. My thoughts exactly. Filing a lawsuit isn't going to get them any closer to working with us and I'm glad they admitted it. I see it near impossible for any restaurant to guarantee a gluten free menu while selling and cooking food with gluten in the same kitchen. It's a risk regardless of how much they try.   25. I'm gonna take a stab at this. One thing I noticed was my heart rate decteased significantly when I went on the diet. When I get glutened I notice I breath harder and my heart rate increases by about 10 beats thus my anxiety goes up then I don't sleep nearly as well. So I'm presuming it has to do with the anxiety.
