  1. That's what my husband told me too. He said that if my doctor (who is an awesome GI in Denver) or the pathologist saw anything that looked like cancer in my biopsies they'd never say "Yep, you sure do have celiac. Call us in January". But I have major health anxiety. You guys will see me on here frequently. I've always been a super healthy kid/adult, and...
  2. Hi Everyone! I got my results back from my endo, and needless to say, I'm more than confused. And I'm scared. I don't know what they mean, and all my doctor said was "start a gluten free diet and come back to see me in January...." Mostly I'm just freaked out by the terminology. I'll tell you what it says, and maybe someone can help me interpret, because...
  3. I had my endo last Monday and I'm waiting to hear from my GI, but since last Tuesday I have been gluten free. I had a baby in May and I still had about 15 lbs to lose before I was diagnosed, but wasn't trying to lose it. Since I've stopped eating gluten (and dairy, since I think I may be a little sensitive right now) I have lost about 3 lbs. I always hear...
  4. I am a super anxious person. I've got some things going on in my personal life and the celiac diagnosis coupled with those things has made me very anxious. Then I start to panic when my bowels aren't right because I expect them to be better and I worry that something else is going on. How frustrating.
  5. I had my endoscopy last Monday and I'm waiting on my results, but my GI told me that I can start a gluten-free diet now. I've been gluten-free for a week and I'm still dealing with loose stools in the morning. I am almost positive that I'm not accidentally eating gluten. I'm not eating dairy because I thought maybe that was it. And now I'm frustrated. does...
  6. Thanks for the advice I keep telling myself that if I have to have some kind of weird health issue I would prefer celiac over so many other things. I'm assuming it's what I have, since there are no other reasons why my number was so elevated. And with my good blood work maybe I caught it early before it starts to wreak have on my body. I'm looking forward...
  7. Thank you for posting that. I've had a lot of that bloodwork done and everything is normal. At the peak of this belly bug I had blood work done and my white count was fine. I think it's just my health anxiety scaring me into thinking this is something scarier (to me) than celiac. Maybe the anxiety will subside once I go gluten-free. The anxiety is brutal...
  8. I guess I feel like if it is celiac that's ok. I know so many people with celiac and I feel ok about it. But anything else terrifies me. I just read online that elevated blood tests can be from crohns and not necessarily celiac. But I don't know how elevated they mean. I also don't know how common that is. I don't have symptoms of crohns aside from...
  9. Hi! I'm new here, and I'm looking for some information because I'm having a hard time finding it. Over Labor Day weekend I got some kind of intestinal bug. I didn't think much of it until the D persisted once a day up til now. I tried a priobiotic but that didn't help much. I have bad anxiety and began to think that I was just anxious and stressed....
