  1. I just spent a year with sharp pain to the right of my belly button. I have been diagnosed Celiac gluten free 10 years, no dairy, corn, gluten, on a 12 food elimination diet. I had dry stomach with gastritis and could barely eat. This was from ppi and antihistamine.?...from misdiagnosis other thyroid control problem confused with allergy. Anyway seems it...
  2. About 6 months after I went gluten free my CRP and cholesterol became perfect. I have had Hashimotos since 1997, Celiac diagnosis 2007. Numbers great for 9 years. As soon as I added food to my strict 10 food diet numbers went high. They are normal now that I went back to diet. My primary doctor and gastrointestinal Dr have no clue.
  3. My CRP, Sed rate, and cholesterol went high but my Celiac blood work stayed unremarkable.
  4. I am positive for the single MTHFR. Since diagnosis 10 years ago I ate an elimination diet of 10 foods. Brown Rice, Sweet Potato, green beans, peas, Apple, peach, raisins, egg, salmon, sardine. All organic, no go, antibiotic, growth hormone, no salt or preservatives. I can not even tolerate citric or ascorbic acid. My numbers have been perfect including CRP...
  5. Only brown rice, My inflamation and blood work are perfect. When I ate quinoa my CRP rose. I do not eat processed foods. Have Hashimotos. Also take a k2 supplement when I noticed bruising that healed slow. Was Unable to take b12 because if gabapentin cross reaction, headaches but stopped gabapentin. Am trying b12 again. Will find a e8 as well. Muscle pain...
  6. Thank you for sharing. Just planning on seeing a Naturopath. Am positive for the gene and have neurological issues, pain with repetitive movement in C and T-spine. Taking 3000mcg L-methylfolate daily is helping. Going backward since I stopped 3 years of gabapentin. Not sure if it is withdrawal or my normal pain episodes since only 1.5 months since off. Can...
  7. HI all. Blood, genetic and 3 biopsies diagnosed Celiac 2007. Spent 10 years on elimination diet of 9 foods to have stable colon and CRP. Never had bad Celiac numbers and my weight dropped 90 lbs from inflamation under control. Great cholesterol. Last two years have been adding foods. Last summer developed sharp pain in right flank, severe. After ultrasounds...
  8. I just had this exact thing. Never figured out what from, food intolerance or medication withdrawal. In any case it kept filling and I kept emptying. What cured it is sea salt which I rubbed up under the gum. It stung but getting up in the wound is what made it heal in 2 days. I also rinsed with sea salt water before bed. Key is to sleep with salty mouth...
  9. Thanks for bringing this up. I have the same issue even after 10 years gluten free. I am on the FODMAP diet to reduce gas and it as helped. Also had genetic blood test for MTHR gene and was positive meaning I can no convert folic acid so must take 3000mcg l-methylfolate daily. From my research actually eating things with folic acid (including all processed...
  10. Was diagnosed 10 yrs ago and developed severe Neuralgia making me bed ridden. Yes my folic acid was very low and taking l-methylfolate made pain worse, but just found out with a genetic blood test for MTHR my body can not convert folic acid and it is imperative I take the l-methylfolate. More research showed me the pain at first is normal flushing of toxins...
  11. Also have Hashimotos. The "normal" scale is super wide. I have to be below 2, preferably 1.5 or bad symptoms of fatigue, depression and panic attacks. Everyone has a different number where they feel balanced. Please check on this. My doctors think anything below 5 and above 1 is normal so no med needed. They are so wrong.
  12. First thanks for being here. Yes my family is obese an father passed from heart attack (undiagnosed Celiac). I was 230lbs, 5foot 5. The first year I went gluten free it took 6months for the inflammation, CRP to be normal but I dropped 5 labs a month no exercise. I got down to 136 labs but I was on a strict elimination diet because I was still finding old...
  13. It has been a long 10 year journey of healing for me mostly because I had little to no after care after diagnosis. First an extensive vitamin panel helped me pinpoint problems. Have tachycardia also, found I had low folic acid but took years to find a doctor who did a genetic test to know supplement was hurting me because of the MTHR genetic defect. Have...
