I realize this is years later, but I had a horrible reaction to this drug too, even though I've never had a problem with amoxicillin. Intense, crazy chest pain (heartburn) that I haven't had since being gluten-free. I was on the 875mg dose and as soon as I started a different abx it went away.... -

I've made these twice and these are the best buns/bread I've ever cooked since being gluten-free!!!!! HAD to SHARE! I didn't use arrowroot and I switched the amounts for sorghum and brown rice (I love sorghum way more) and it was so good. It smelled like... BREAD! After being gluten free for quite a while and still not completely symptom free, my endoscopy showed increased intraepithelial lymphocytes but normal villi. My igA was 5, igG was 2. Is this a normal result for someone in in the healing stage (specifically the increased intraepithelial lymphocytes)? Anyone else have this?

Onepercenter.... I read somewhere (can't remember) that a fair percentage of "gluten free" supplements and probiotics were tested and found to still contain gluten... just fyi... I have rib pain (that's what I call it) that can radiate thru to my back. It's horrible. I feel your pain. Mine has decreased dramatically over time after going gluten... -

All GI doctors are not celiac competent. I had to go to three to get the full panel and I was already gluten-free by that point. Stay on gluten if you think you can get the tests. Even if they do come back negative, it sounds like you should try going gluten-free to see if it makes a difference (but only after tests). Like you, I think biopsies are more... -

Oh man, you and I are in the same boat. I cannot tolerate sesame (tahini) for some reason and ... my beloved coffee. It is the last thing that I haven't really given up even though I feel better without it.
