  1. Hi!! We love Disney World! Call ahead and talk to guest relations. You can make reservations in advance for gluten free food at a lot of their restaurants. They will give you a list of restaurants that have gluten free food. They are very gluten-free friendly. When we were there last May they had gluten free rice crispy treats and brownies at the bakeries...
  2. Really??!! We live in Daybreak, so Draper isn't far! I can't wait to go there. Thanks!!!
  3. He is absolutely white and pasty.
  4. So he was at the doctor when I posted that. The doctor said he's sure it's IBS and scheduled a colonoscopy. He said it doesn't sound like Celiac. I still think it does. Luckily, my friend said he really wanted the blood tests anyway so they did them.
  5. While my son was already diagnosed with Celiac, he never had symptoms. He is a Type 1 Diabetic and his Endo tested all her patients and, luckily, we caught it early. So it seems strange that I am here looking for answers for someone else. I just recently met someone who I think may have Celiac. He is 19 and about 5'10 and weighs 115 pounds. The first...
  6. Spaghetti Mamas in Jordan Commons has a gluten free pasta. They are really nice and helpful too.
  7. Open Original Shared Link has a list of places where you can eat.
  8. That's the 2nd time I've seen them mention it! The first time she was having guests over and they were making dinner. She said something about Buzz being out of town and how she normally had to make that dinner gluten free because he couldn't have gluten. I love that show!
  9. My son is also a Type 1 Diabetic. His endo tests all her patients for Celiac. Like your son, he tested positive without symptoms other than being cranky. He's a whole different kid now though. The doctor told us that he would have had physical symptoms eventually, but it's better to catch it early. She also said out of her diabetic patients 1 in 1...
  10. OK I found the potato flour donuts in SLC. Open Original Shared Link Tasty's donuts. I called though and she said they do have wheat flour in them as well as potato.
  11. The owner of Against the Grain told me you can buy pizza crusts there and take them to a pizza place (I forget the name but I'm pretty sure it's in the same shopping center as her but you should definitely ask her) and they will put the sauce, cheese and toppings on and cook it for you.
  12. I know how you feel. My son hated every bread he tried. When we moved to Salt Lake we went to a gluten free store (Against the Grain) and the owner told me to try Charlotte's bread. When I picked it up it was actually soft!! I wasn't expecting that, since most gluten-free bread isn't. It has honey in it and tastes great. I don't have celiac and now...
  13. We moved to SLC about 2 months ago. We haven't been to very many restaurants but my son (who is the only Celiac in the family) really likes Spaghetti Mama's because he can have gluten free pasta there.
  14. I had the same milk issues with my son. I decided (mainly because he was teething OUCH) to stop breastfeeding and pump instead. My son was allergic to so many foods it seemed everytime I introduced something new he got sick. The doctor said rice milk would be ok after a year and a half to two years but since he couldn't/wouldn't eat much else I kept giving...
  15. We just moved to Utah! We found this site helpful Open Original Shared Link Toward the bottom are reviews of restaurants. We have only tried Spaghetti Mama's and they were awesome.
