  1. I never let my card get high before, I used to freak when it went near 1000......I wish it was there again. All the worrying in the world isn't helping either. We rent and that is almost 900 a month. Now I am afraid we will have to move somewhere else....to a not so nice area/place....which is on my mind. I just feel like we cannot get ahead...both of us...
  2. She enjoyed the wrapping paper and boxes more than the toys when we did the gift exchange...my sisters and I spoiled her Plus, my sister tammy's baby, Silvia is 1 month older so it is a nice playmate for her.
  3. I don't do saurkraut either....not my thing. I don't feel too good either after dinner. I think my cosmo's are catching up to me....I think this Silly is going to camp on the couch for the remainder of the day.
  4. I can say with the wedding and a few other things one of our credit card bills is high....and scary high from my viewpoint. I would like to get rid of it. I am thinking of doing a balance transfer since the interest on the card is 24%....so it never comes down.....
  5. We do the pork, saurkraut and applesauce here.
  6. I feel for you Emily, that would be murder for me. Mine is nice and all but she pushes her views....religion and beliefs are a main one, she always tries to start a debate. If it is not that she will just start acting emotional. Like John's dad works a lot and so if he doesn't come home exactly when she tells him, when he gets there and we are there she will...
  7. My mom bought each of us a guardian angel visor clip that says Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
  8. My quiet New Years was nice. I had a few Cosmo's which were good. I woke up at 7 this morning and came out on the couch...My big cat was there and he made room for me...a true gentlecat and then I woke up late....few minutes ago and the cat is still here and keeps nudging me as I type. We have a New Years dinner at MIL's to go too, don't really want to go...
  9. Julie- Those babies, the sextuplets were born in the hospital John and I work at...Did you ever see the one where they go to the NICU reunion? It was filmed at our hospital.
  10. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL MY EAST COAST TIME SILLIES!!!!!!!! ((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
  11. 1 hr to go all Eastern time Sillies....
  12. John got some much needed rest this weekend and we are off tomorrow, he was off at 12 today. I think that helped!!!! Patti I love your hair!!! We are watching Jon and Kate plus 8. Those parents are always quarrelling....I think that is why John likes it.
  13. Carla and Janet nice pic looks like you had fun! I too am jealous Patti-love the new kitchen pic Happy New Year Nikki!!!! Are you celebrating? It is under 3 hrs till the New Year here and I am ready to start on my first drink...We are in for the night John is still recovering, he has a viral infection....he just cannot face marriage
  14. I know Sabrina's mom is a waste of flesh! It is so sad, that people who are dying to have children cannot but all these people who are unfit are having babies left and right.... So right now I am playing fetch with my cat, he is like a dog....throw something and he brings it back. My cat also follows us wherever we go, especially if we both leave the...
  15. I know Lucky does this....I can wake up numerous times and he is always sitting on the nightstand resting his head on the alarm clock and staring at me....while Purring. I look at him and he comes over and kisses me and then continues to stare....freaky! He does not do this to John....just me.
  16. I think I sing-a-long most to Grease I also enjoy West Side Story as well. Has anyone watched that new movie Hairspray yet?
  17. Clementimes are those tiny oranges that you can buy in a crate around Christmas time at the grocery store. They are seedless and very tasty. Sucanat....from the recipe I am gathering it is some kind of sweetner....but I could be wrong. I can't seem to find though.
  18. Silvia and Sabrina are only a month apart so that is like having built in playmates too, when Silvia comes to visit twice a week.
  19. I have to post this. I am such a proud Auntie! My sister Tammy entered her baby, Silvia into this Cutest Baby Picture Contest and Silvia won in the Infant Category. Open Original Shared Link
  20. She actually spent Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the following day with her biological mom...and when my mom picked her back up at Child Services on Thursday, she found out the baby hadn't had a change of clothes the entire time she was "home" My mom peered in the diaper bag at all the clean clothes she sent, it was obvious none had ever been touched....
  21. It shouldn't be a problem. I used to work in a lab, and to do a lot of special tests they use serum. So if he had other tests drawn, they already have that serum they need and it has been stored in the ideal manner. We used to get people who would have multiple tubes of blood drawn since they were trying to determine a diagnosis. One of the reasons to draw...
  22. Janet that is a good idea. I know a lot of the grocery stores around here offer the totes for 99 cents when you are checking out. We have bought them and really like them. It saves from using all that plastic. We do resuse the plastic bags in our house to clean the cats litter.
  23. Hi Erica and Welcome to the Board I know what you mean, the products are really trial and error. Some taste horrible! I know the first few months I would buy a bag of cookies and they would be rock hard and taste like cardboard! I would spit them out. One good treat that goes over well even with non-celiac's is Gluten Free Pantry's Truffle Brownie mix...
