  1. ...and HOW did you find your way here? Pretty obscure stuff...... We, however, think we're QUITE funny. Daughter, I'm a Christian too. Wouldn't be alive if I weren't - most of my life was so unbearable that just believing that God had a purpose for my existence was the ONLY thing that kept me here. <now what IS my purpose, again? :huh...
  2. <scratching chin> hmmmmmmmmmmm....must ponder this further......as an ADULT (?) I find it funny, as a juvenile, even funnier. Is there a genetic component to "bathroom humour," which only some have? (perhaps the same marker that lets only certain members of population detect the bitterness in cruciferous vegetables?)
  3. how sad, that scooping the yeti waste is now more desirable  gahhhhhhhhhhh  Must take the dingos on a romp, they swear to me they smelled a yeti, coming from teh direction of the orchard today.....
  4. gassy and Chuck Norris in same sentence - oh Richard will NOT be pleased!!! (I am SURE that Richard will aver that Chuck's farts are hickory-smoke or pine-scented ) Heston is gassy too? Why, what a parade this will be ! Yes, bean-powered......oh my. The poor Yeti-poop scooper in the rear - was that Janet????? ...
  5. SEE! We KNEW he was gay! When I was first diagnosed w/ Celiac, I thought about everyone in my family (most are dead) who has or had Celiac...... Anywho, I had two grandmas - - the MEAN grandma and the STINKY/WEIRD grandma (yes, disliked them both tremendously, got seriously ripped off in the grandma department Don't even know what...
  6. indeed. kind of a slow day, we need this. Anyone seen our parade? Where's it headed?
  7. oh my Looooooooooooooooooooooooord every time I try to access c.com, God shuts down my modem. this is a sign, must get busy and step away from computer. CARRY ON SILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. that maniacal kitten caused Annie to run over, askeert and quizzical..... Bev - the yoga fart   Think I saw a cloud...
  8. SArah - I could literally write a book about the very sad life I had. I am just SO thankful to have emerged from those dark DECADES.....but as mentioned earlier, if I"d only known sooner.....oh how life COULD have been. I was sad, extremely sad and anxious and even depressed - from about age four or five. I was an outstanding reader and writer...
  9. this concept scares me a little bit........ I know......what is WITH us? My poor mom.....three boys and one very tomboy girl in her house....oh how we tortured her (and somehow, the preferred term for farts was GASSER. as in, 'MOMMMMMMMMMMM, John let a gasser on me!!!!!!!!!!! ' Makes me cackle, even now ) ...
  10. CACKatoo?? Is this a bird that poops whilst dancing? "you dance and you caca, too??" I am a little delirious and silly tonight.
  11. *snigger* *snort* Whilst we are all sitting here mindin' our own bidness (the dogs and I - mommy is wasting time on Itunes ), Stinker (aka Tika) let out a highly-audible fart, scared herself, jumped up w/ tail betwixt legs and ran out of the room.
  12. Phew! Thought I was having another out-of-body experience, and remember, they are just NEVER as much fun as you hope they'll be.
  13. Ciao Veronica! Sono andato in Italia venti anni fa, e lo manto molto! Sei settimane dapertutto Italia....una semana a Venizia. (my Italian is bad, it's been a long time, y adesso studio espanol y rovino il mil italiano!) We don't really have shopping lists....but most companies are good about listing ingredients. If there is a Trader Joe's nearby...
  14. I can't agree more with the above. Also, recently there ahve been several Oprah shows dealing wtih bipolar disorder, and Dr. Jamison has been a guest (I read her book years ago). I felt like screaming - - she virtually NEVER suggests anything but medication and a good shrink for bipolar disease, and says it can take years and years for improvement...
  15. The whole thread is pretty quiet on weekends. That is because most of the contributors write when they are "working." Feeling MUCH better today! I highly recommend Ethiopian food for Celiacs. They do use teff (an ethiopian grrain high in protein) and for their own pancake-like bread, they mix it w/ other flours. For mine, she just...
  16. Hi Sarah! I cannot stress enough how STRONGLY I urge you to avoid medications for Ezra! This is an issue that causes huge anger in me. There was, just last week, a program devoted to this very subject - bipolar disorder in children (20/20 or Dateline?) and how doctors are wildly diagnosing bipolar disease in TWO year olds. It's an outrage. I...
  17. oh you know me too well. Got up this morning, ate it PROMPTLY for breakfast. Had not thrown it into trash so Costanza was not necessary (though do we not all know that I am NOT above that ). It was just too yummy and we all figured out the problem last night - - there were NINE vegetarian items, one had toasted wheat berries = I AXED them to leave...
  18. Katie! Good to have your name. I do hope you know I was only kidding about teh middle-aged man stuff. Oh folks.....I have what we call the TRIPLE THREAT or HIDEOUS FEMALE TRIFECTA today. Thrown out lower back, a glutening from last night's OUTSTANDING Ethiopian food (and this confuses me since there have been THREE intentional cheatings...
  19. You're not a crybaby, at all. Welcome to the forum. Nearly all of us got all of our information about how to eat and live form this forum - it's a lifesaver, so you don't need any local professional help, which is good. You can eat naturally gluten-free just by shopping in your local grocery store if you stick to a mainly pure diet - meats...
  20. one thing about the small breasts - no sagging. But I am SOOOOOO gettin' me some fake ones.
  21. future film director, I am telling you. Encourage the madness, he'll do well.
  22. Deb - So sorry about your mom not reading things. That is intensely frustrating. I know when I try to talk to DOCTORS and regular people about gluten removal and mental health, nobody gets it. Julie - it's the same thing Laura was looking into. I just wonder how many people have it and don't know it? I'm quite sure that fewer doctors would...
  23. Knew I could count on you. Must have been teh bubbles. FEELS like an MSG reaction. Bugger. Well, clearly I"ll have to get a boyfriend so I can get me some of those bras. But can't we call you by your REAL name? or see your picture? how do we even KNOW you're a teenaged girl, and not some fat middle-aged man in...
  24. someone needs to take my computer away from me. Forgot to tell you all another comment Gail made yesterday - - - a slight rolling of the eyes with - "you really need to get a REAL job, away from home and away from the computer, now don't you?" Forgot to say to Alex, so sorry about yoru glutening, and so glad we could make you laugh! that's what...
